Redfin Launches "Sweet Digs" as Seattle's First Online Property Review Magazine
Online real estate broker Redfin Corporation today launched "Sweet Digs," the first online real estate magazine to publish reviews of properties for sale across the greater Seattle area. The site, available at http://blog.redfin.com/blog/seattle, already has attracted thousands of subscribers during an early trial period. If successful, the more-ambitious version of the online magazine will expand to San Francisco, Oakland, Calif. and San Jose, Calif.
Published as a blog, Sweet Digs will offer as many as 30 eyewitness reviews per week of properties for sale in Seattle-area neighborhoods such as Ballard, Bainbridge Island, Bellevue, Capitol Hill, Fremont, Green Lake, Kirkland, Phinney Ridge, South Seattle, Wallingford and West Seattle. To publish the site, Redfin contracted with writers whom are experts in their local real estate market.
"We want to save people from having to drive all over town to check out new listings," said Marie Hagman, Seattle Sweet Digs editor. "The Sweet Digs team knows its neighborhoods backward and forward, and keeps a keen eye out for a good deal. We want to keep it real with candid property reviews, but we also hope to have fun because we love looking at and talking about houses and condos as much as our readers do."

About Redfin
Redfin (www.redfin.com) is the real estate industry's first online brokerage, combining a customer-focused team of real estate agents with online tools for making the process of buying or selling a home easy. Redfin is the only major search site to feature listings direct from broker databases as well as for-sale-by-owner and foreclosure properties from across the Internet. The company pays its agents customer-satisfaction bonuses, not commissions, and surveys every client, publishing each survey as well as details on the agent's negotiating performance and deal history. Redfin's service is available in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, Washington DC, Baltimore, New York's Long Island and Westchester County as well as most of California, including the San Francisco Bay Area, Southern California and Sacramento.
