Online real estate broker Redfin Corporation today announced that the company won the Alliance of Angels' 2007 Company of the Year award. Presented May 31 at the 2007 State of Technology luncheon in Seattle, the award honors and encourages the entrepreneurial spirit of new businesses in the Pacific Northwest. Past winners are The Insitu Group, which introduced the first unmanned aerial vehicle to cross the Atlantic Ocean, and Pacific Bioscience Laboratories, developers of the Sonicare toothbrush. Redfin is the first Internet company to win the award.
