We need great people to serve as the face of Redfin.

Field Agents serve as an ambassador of Redfin performing home tours, monitoring inspections, hosting open houses and satisfying other post mutual tasks. You'll be trained on the Redfin way of doing real estate, and we'll expect you to learn our site and master all of the great tools available to clients to find their next home.

Here's how it works:

You'll be paid per event, and there are four-types of events you can perform: tours, inspections, post-mutual tasks and open houses. You're in charge of your schedule and you can work as much or as little as you'd like, provided we've got the demand in your area.

We'd prefer that you have an active real estate license in the state(s) where you'd be working.

To succeed in this role you must have:

  • The ability to be highly productive using computers and websites;
  • Excellent communication skills; and
  • The dedication and work ethic to provide great customer service.

What you are responsible for:

  • Having a reliable mode of transportation (bicycle, Vespa, sedan)
  • Maintaining an active real estate license with dues paid for all required MLSs in your coverage area. Redfin does not assume responsibility for this, and won't be paying dues on your behalf.
  • Providing a cell phone that can access, send and receive emails and maintain a calendar.
  • Daily access to a home computer or laptop – preferably laptop for mobility, with a wireless connection.

Product Manager: Customer & Agent Experiences; Seattle

Redfin built the best real estate site then hired and partnered with the best real estate agents. Now we are seeking a talented product/program manager to lead the charge designing the best home-buying and home-selling experience on the planet.

This PM will be responsible for all aspects of website interaction between our millions of customers and hundreds of agents. He or she will work with our real estate operations team to define the service and process around how we delight all customers with a fantastic real estate experience from start-to-finish.

As product manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding business requirements: talking to customers and agents, studying competitors, and analyzing usage patterns to understand how to improve Redfin
  • Leading the charge: working with execs & marketing to drive the roadmap
  • Communicating ideas: creating wireframes & specs to get feature ideas generated, agreement hammered out and sweetness built
  • Designing product areas: writing specifications and collaborating with Designers to develop product ideas into beautiful works of art
  • Shipping killer software: partnering with engineering to ensure Redfin products are developed to spec, making trade-offs as needed for quality & the customer

To succeed, you'd need to be:

  • A creative customer advocate: zeal for building an addictive, delightful user experience, and the instinct to identify with the customer
  • Entrepreneurial: values speed, creativity and common-sense, able to initiate and willing to work hard
  • Market-savvy: currency with what's happening on the frontiers of the Internet that's really powerful and cool
  • A simplicity sensei: able to distill complicated info down to its essence, yet give the full bodied taste for those who crave the data
  • Process-oriented: familiarity with every phase of product management, and the attention to detail to make sure development proceeds without a hitch

  • Technical chops: enough technical skill to work closely with engineers designing products that are straightforward to code and test
  • A four-year degree: preferably in computer science, or related field of study.

  • Be experienced with a minimum of 20 residential transactions under your belt
