Field Agent; Most Markets
We need great people to serve as the face of Redfin.
Field Agents serve as ambassadors of Redfin performing home tours, monitoring inspections, and hosting open houses. You'll be trained on the Redfin way of doing real estate, and we'll expect you to learn our site and master all of the great tools available to clients to find their next home.
Here's how it works:
You'll be paid per event, and there are four-types of events you can perform: tours, inspections, post-mutual tasks and open houses. You're in charge of your schedule and you can work as much or as little as you'd like, provided we've got the demand in your area.

Requirements

We're looking for individuals that can execute under pressure, thrive in an ever-changing business environment, ready to own the growth of our new markets in Portland and Phoenix. We need proven leaders that can help us build Redfin from the ground up. To begin, you'd serve as our designated broker, aiding us with setting up our brokerage in your area, ensuring compliance with real estate laws, and finding office space. Once we're live, you'd hit the ground running, ready to establish Redfin as a force in the local real estate market, brokering deals, creating a team and building a market presence.

Requirements
- Be actively licensed as a broker in the state you're applying
- Have a four-year college degree
- Have prior experience managing teams
- Be experienced with a minimum of 20 residential transactions under your belt

What You'll Do
- Lots of deals: you'll support your team lead agent and work with your own clients to make offers or list properties. A team of field agents and transaction coordinators help you focus on getting deals done. You'll have 10 – 50 clients actively looking for homes; every one of 'em will want to pounce at a moment's notice.
- Tour clients: in the slow months, you still do deals, but you're also out in the field, hosting tours for your teammate's clients.
- Teach: year round, you're teaching home-buying classes and answering questions about how the process works.
Requirements
- Experienced: you're a licensed agent with ten deals under your belt, two over the last 12 months
- Open: Redfin sends your past year's clients our customer-satisfaction survey; you must get a 70% NPS score. For people we hire, we publish the results on your profile.
- Smart: you probably have a college degree and certainly can communicate clearly and write well.
- Ethical: you score 100% on Redfin's values test.
About Your Career
We invest in you, and you invest in us. If you close 30 Redfin deals with 80% NPS, you become eligible to run a team as a team lead agent.

Coordinator; All Markets
A Redfin coordinator supports a local Redfin team of 2 – 3 agents, answering client questions, scheduling home tours and managing the entire escrow process. You're the hub for customers contacting us on all fronts, by telephone, email or the web. You have the charm to engage a client contacting us for the first-time, the iron fist to keep a team working together without a hitch, and the know-how to put together a deal in escrow.
Who You Are

- Keeping it real you're a people person, a real person. You know how to tell a good joke.

What You'll Do
- Engage customers: take customers' calls, email, web requests. You're quick on your feet, funny, friendly.
- Make it happen: track every team member's whereabouts, scheduling home tours, routing offers, escalating customer concerns. Nothing falls through the cracks.
- Manage escrow: guide clients through escrow, working with customers, lenders, appraisers, insurers, inspectors, attorneys and escrow agents to protect clients' interests and close on time.
Requirements
- Team: JV soccer, chili cook-off, high-school science project -- you've always been all about the team.
- Experience: everyone you've ever worked with says you're a rock.
- Smart: you probably have a college degree and certainly can communicate clearly and write well.
- Licensed: you've got your real estate license, and experience with transactions to boot.
