How it Works with a Redfin Lead Agent:

1. Search for homes:

2. Choose a Redfin lead agent:
   We publish our agents' transaction histories and customer reviews to our site, so you get the data to make a performance-based decision.
   
   
3. Figure out financing:
   Choosing the right lender is as important as picking the right agent. Shop rates, interview lenders, and get pre-approved so you'll be ready if the right home comes along.
   
   
4. Tour homes with Redfin:
   Schedule tours online, and a Redfin field agent will show you each home, as many as you need. There's no commitment.
   
   
5. Investigate:
   If you've found a home you're excited about, talk with your Redfin lead agent. We can prepare a comparative market analysis (CMA) An evaluation of comparable recently sold homes in a neighborhood to determine a fair price range for a certain home on the market. to see if it's a good deal. If you're ready to make an offer, we can investigate the seller's situation and put together all the paperwork for you to sign.
   
   
6. Close the deal:
   We take care of all the contingencies, Conditions included with an offer on a home that must be fulfilled before the deal can close. If a buyer or seller is unable to satisfy a contingency, then the offer on a home may become void. then we share the commission. The average refund when working with one of Redfin's own agents is $7,500.
   

How it works with a Redfin partner agent:
In areas currently beyond a Redfin lead agent's reach, you can work with a Redfin partner agent. While these agents work for traditional brokerages, they're ready to provide you with one-on-one support throughout each step of the home-buying process. Redfin provides their past performance data and customer reviews so that you can make an informed choice. Upon the purchase of your home, Redfin partner agents will provide you with a 15% commission credit.

When am I committed to using Redfin?
When you choose Redfin, there's no obligation. You're only committed to working with us once you've signed an offer on a specific home. If that offer doesn't close and you find another home to purchase, you don't need to sign a new agreement to continue working with us. If you're ever unhappy with our service, you can cancel your agreement at any time. We only ask that you fill out a survey to let us know what we can do better.
