First, Talk With Your Redfin Agent

Thinking about making an offer? Give your Redfin agent a call. She can help you decide if the time is right or if you're better off waiting. Nothing's official until we talk and you sign a formal offer.

Haven't chosen a Redfin agent yet? Read our agent profiles and request a meeting or call to discuss a potential offer. We'll get back to you within four hours to schedule a pre-offer consultation.

Or Use the Offer Wizard

You can also submit an offer in the Offer Wizard. If you're already working with a Redfin agent, you'll get a call from her. Otherwise, we'll set you up with an experienced Redfin agent once we get your offer. Either way, you'll hear from us within four hours.

Your Agent Helps Set Price and Terms

Your agent can prepare a Comparative Market Analysis to guide you on pricing, and will help you decide if you want to include financing, inspection or other contingencies. Your agent isn't paid on commissions, so her only goal is getting the right deal for you. She'll tell you to walk away from any deal that's not right.

Once you're ready, print, sign and fax the final offer paperwork and your agent will send it to the listing agent & begin the negotiations. Now it's official!

Our Negotiating Advantage Works in Your Favor

Because a Redfin agent specializes in negotiations, she typically does more deals in a month than a traditional agent does in a year. And you're involved every step of the way. This works for you: MLS data shows that Redfin clients negotiated a bigger discount off of list price than traditional brokers, worth $3,594.

What to Expect in the Negotiations

Once the listing agent has your offer, the negotiations begin. Your Redfin agent is there to guide you. He'll give you solid, unbiased advice, and will negotiate on your behalf. You're in constant contact via phone and email.

After Mutual Acceptance, You're on the Way to Closing

When you and the seller have agreed on price and terms, it's called mutual acceptance. Congratulations! Now you're on the way to closing.
