If you're an experienced real estate agent who shares Redfin's values of customer service, choice and candor, we'd like you to help visitors to our website buy or sell a home.
If you're accepted as one of our partners, we'll publish your profile on our website, including your transaction history, customer reviews and online activity in blogs and Redfin's Forums.
This is a true referral program. We only make money when you make money.
- No up-front costs: you can apply, appear on our site, and connect with a potential client at no charge. You only pay us if our referral closes on a transaction.
- Pay at close: when a client who chooses to work with you completes a transaction, we charge you a 30% referral fee. Half the referral fee goes back to the client in the form of a 15% credit to closing costs and we keep the other 15%.
There are some other nice benefits to being a Redfin partner agent.
- Meet new clients: In every partner area we open, we have thousands of monthly visitors who plan to buy or sell a home in the next six months. 75% haven't picked an agent.
- Don't waste your time: Redfin doesn't send you leads. We connect you with home-buyers who have reviewed your profile and requested your service.
- Focus on profitable customers: Redfin's online-savvy visitors have already done their homework, spending less time with an agent than a traditional client does.
Redfin's Partner Program has three prerequisites:
- Solid Experience: You must have completed 15+ transactions as a real estate agent, with at least 5 transactions in the last year.
- Provide the best customer service: We show the world how our partner agents served their clients, so your performance can speak for itself. And we send you in-depth customer survey results, so you can raise your game.
- Transparency: You must agree to publish all customer reviews and transaction metrics on all of your clients.
Participating in the program does not obligate you to offer a commission refund to clients you engage outside of Redfin.
We are recruiting agents in the outlying areas of all the markets we serve:
- Northern California: Morgan Hill, Gilroy and Hollister
- Chicago Metro Area: Will & South Cook Counties
- Western Washington: Snohomish County
- New York: Queens County
- DC-area: Frederick, Carroll & Washington Counties
If we have not listed your area, you can still apply. We are expanding Redfin to other markets, and, depending on our ability to handle demand, may open our partner program to other areas.
