Redfin employs experienced agents in every market. Unlike other brokerages, Redfin agents do not earn commissions. Instead, we pay our agents a salary, benefits, and a quarterly bonus based on your responses to customer satisfaction surveys. The same local team works with you every step of the way.
Your Redfin team consists of three professionals:
Your Redfin Direct Agent is a senior agent who negotiates your offer.
Your Redfin Transaction Coordinator handles the closing paperwork.
Your Redfin Field Agent is a junior agent who hosts home tours.

Your Redfin Direct Agent is an experienced, local agent who is responsible for negotiating offers and leading the team that serves you. Each has closed 20 or more transactions. Unlike traditional brokerages, Redfin trains its agents in pricing analysis and negotiation best practices, and carefully monitors customer satisfaction and negotiating performance.
Your Transaction Coordinator is responsible for a smooth closing process. This person handles all the paperwork required by your lender, inspector and escrow agent.

Redfin Field Agents provide private access to listings that you cannot see via open houses. Unlike a traditional agent, a Redfin Field Agent does not advise you on which home to buy. The table below summarizes the differences between a traditional agent on a home tour and a Redfin Field Agent.
