This is the list or the sale price of the home divided by the number of finished square feet. It determines how much a buyer will pay for a square foot of space and is helpful when comparing the sold prices of several homes of similar size. For every city, county, zip-code and neighborhood, Redfin graphs both the median listing $/sq.ft. for homes active on the market in the week ending on the date shown on the graph, as well as the median sold $/sq.ft., expressed as a 90-day moving value.
