To move the map to a new location, you can simply use the mouse to click and drag the map. You also can click and hold the directional arrows in the top right map control to move the map in any direction. Click and hold the – or + icons on the slider along the top right to zoom in or out on the map.
The map control can also be used to switch from using a road view of the map, which is an abstract rendering of a neighborhood, to using an aerial view, which is an actual photo. You can also choose to use a hybrid view, which combines the labels from the road view with the imagery from the aerial view.
