My wife and I are first time home buyers. We really liked the Redfin approach and website and had a friend that had purchased their 2nd home thru Redfin and had a very good experience and save money as well. we were very pleased with Anna's responsiveness and attention to detail. Her advice was also solid and correlated to other experienced homebuyers we knew and consulted with. I would recommend Anna and Redfin to any homebuyer regardless of whether they are first time or have purchased multiple homes. Anna's organization and persistance with the lender and Seller's agents really helped make the whole team work well together. There was an initial lag with Redfin before we had our tours scheduled promptly but after that we had multiple tours in multiple counties with multiple Redfin field agents that all went smoothly. The sellers agent left us a gift basket. Redfin gave us almost $10,000 back in closing costs refunds. I much preferred the money.

Anna arranged three offers - first two were multiple offers and we weren't successful. The third offer was accepted and Anna, Sara and the field agents worked quickly and cooperatively to make sure everything got done and on time for a 30 day escrow. Great communication and loved the e-document method to sign/initial everything - saved a lot of paper and time. I never got to meet Anna, but that is the beauty of how Red Fin works: Anna handles the back and forth with the seller's agent (in my case), Sara coordinates all the documents once the offer is accepted and the field agents show the homes, open the home for inspections and appraisal and assist with the final walk through. Very efficient and easy. And sharing the commission 50-50 is a wonderful reward in the end. Wholeheartedly will use Red Fin again.

Anna was an exemplary Realtor because she helped me (a first-time buyer) understand what to do and what not to do. She gave advice and was always extremely punctual when it counted most. Most valuable to me however was her honesty. She let me know exactly when she needed to research, or when a piece of information was immutable. Her experience really showed when dealing with selling agencies or those stubborn banks! I don't have any problem recommending Anna when buying your 1st home or 400th; I'm confident she can get the job done.

My wife and I had an excellent experience using Redfin. It exceeded our expectations. Anna was knowledgeable and very responsive when we had questions. She offered insightful advice during the process. The docusign software is very efficient instead of having to essentially pay your realtor to drive around town and deliver documents (it's just not necessary in this day and age). I will tell everyone I know about Redfin. I can only hope that their business model changes the industry.

I would like to recommend Anna for her high professionalism as a real estate agent. As first-time home buyers we had lots of questions and she always had right answers.

Anna was right on top of things from the start. She gave us solid advice on what to offer and then kept us current on the status. She was always available to answer any questions I had, even at some pretty extreme hours. Our purchase was a little complicated due to some particular needs on the sellers' part, but Anna helped us to safely navigate the whole deal. She also worked very closely with my lender, Cindy Kramer at Bankers Funding, to ensure that everything stayed on schedule. I got the keys to my house yesterday and I couldn't be happier. Way to go, Anna!

Anna was ready to help with each of my "First Time Home Buyer" questions.

Our experience with Anna was excellent. We felt that we were being advised by someone with a lot of experience and a thorough knowledge of all aspects of our transaction. She also has a great personality and we felt comfortable asking any sort of question. We had to wait a few hours for a call back on a couple of occasions but that's not really unreasonable and it's is the only thing that kept us from rating the experience a 10. We did not expect the service to be nearly as good given the discounted cost and we're very pleasantly surprised. It would have been nice to meet her in person at some point but all business was handled by phone or email with a field agent assisting onsite as needed.

Once I realized that Anna responds to questions only when she has answers instead of writing something like "got your questions, will see what I can find out" each time, then I felt reassured that everything was on track to closing. She's not one for responding with fluff so if you're the type that needs constant hand-holding, then you might want to go with a full service agent vs redfin in general. She's great to use if you prefer email communications and sending paperwork in electronic format. For this being our first homebuying experience, it was a great experience and we would use redfin again.

Anna was a calm, very capable presence in the midst of a long, sometimes tense escrow. She answered every email and phone call in record time and was always clear and helpful. We especially appreciated how she helped us make decisions on our own, giving us the info we needed and answering our questions but never trying to influence us. Thanks for everything, Anna!

Overall good experience. Very little interaction with agent which was to be expected. She was quick to respond to any actions required on her part. Lack of explanation on things at time seemed less than professional. Will recommend the experience to all my contacts. The Redfin business model is the only way to procure real estate moving forward.

As a first-time home buyer looking to purchase in California, I was a little nervous about working with an Internet-based company like Redfin, but once I started working with Anna, all my fears were eliminated. Anna was professional from our first phone call to the day we got keys. She has detailed knowledge and provides good guidance above and beyond standard transaction processing. Anna was very responsive, returning phone calls promptly and finding answers for us (or telling us where to go) with a very quick turnaround. We had some unexpected events arise during our purchase, and Anna helped us navigate our way through the issues to a smooth closing. I would highly recommend Anna Nevares to my friends and family. A good web site is just the beginning: it's because of people like Anna that I believe in the Redfin model.

Anna was very helpful in providing explainations and detailed steps for buying a home. This was our 1st home and it was difficult but Anna made it as painless as possible. Anna is amazing! Buying a house is a very stressful experience and Anna has been the best thing about it. She has exceeded our expectations in every way. We really couldn't have asked for more. Anna was great to work with and very knowledgeable. Our escrow went much longer than normal, and she worked closely with all parties involved to keep things on track.

Anna was very prompt in dealing with issues of the transaction, offered sound recommendations, only called when necessary, and was very positive. We had listed our home for sale with another local broker last July. They required at least triple the amount of time to deal with, and up until we cancelled their listing in November they had produced only one unacceptable offer. When we listed with Anna and Redfin in January, we had two offers within three days, and one of those offers increased to full price which we accepted. Redfin's reduced commission allowed us to price our home closer to the market price resulting in a quick sale. Anna negotiated the sale in a very professional and attentive way. We could not be more pleased. I had a great experience with Redfin. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I feel lucky to have found Redfin through my online searches for a real estate agent. The service provided was exactly what I needed: guidance and prompt support whenever I needed it, allowing me to reaserch the market on my own pace without any pressure.

It would be great to have an on-line task list while in escrow show opening items and due dates. The doc coordinator could update and the user could reference through the redfin site. Heck, reminders could even be generated at the user's discretion. It's difficult to follow a few long emails with so many items a dates. We had some problems working directly with the So CA field agent manager back in the redfin 1.0 days, but I assume that this has been corrected with 2.0.

Redfin was perfect for us. We really liked the website and the ability to search on our own for the properties we wanted to see, with more information than other sites provide. The rebate was a bonus-- the empowerment was even more important.

Anna is a true asset to the team. She was very helpful and I can't believe buying a house was so easy. I would recommend Anna and Redfin to any other person looking to buy a house.

I must say the touring process was terrible. In this market, having to wait days to schedule a tour to see some bank owned homes that can get snatched up quickly was definitely a pain. I was to the point of scheduling tours ahead of time and changing the homes to be seen before the weekend. Really you just need more staff on hand to do the tours so that people are able to see homes same day. Your field agents are not really doing more than opening doors for you, so it doesnt seem necessary to have experienced real estate people to do this. Really my only complaint personnel wise was with the tour coordinator Katrina. She would routinely take days to get back to us and scheduled our tours incorrectly a few times. Other than that your field agents were pleasant and our agent working the deal, Anna Nevares, was very helpful and worked hard for us. Overall with the money we will be receiving back from Redfin, it was definitely a positive experience, just quite a bit more work and time than using a personal agent.

We have now had both the traditional real estate agency experience and the Redfin experience, and there is no comparison. Redfin has surpassed our expectations in every capacity. Our Redfin agent Anna and her team have been extremely responsive and their advice and expertise has been invaluable to us as we negotiated this process at this very economically difficult time. We sold our house in a fraction of the time it has taken most of those in our neighborhood. Another advantage was the amount of transparency and involvement that we had working with Redfin. In our past experiences with traditional realtors we felt left out of the loop...Not with Redfin! We were much more involved and the information and feedback we received was very comforting. We recommend Redfin without reservation. They have fantastic customer service and value. Their is no reason to waste money on traditional realtors. We have several friends who plan to sell their homes in the coming year and we have urged them all to go with Redfin!

Mostly new buyers are not aware of many think related to escrow and other things, getting them more info ahead of time will help new buyes

We were a bit wary as first time buyers and nervous about an internet agent, but have found the experience to be great! From viewing homes to negotiations to the final documents, we couldn't be happier with the expertise and professionalism!

From top to bottom we were very happy with Redfin. Anna Nevares, our "Negotiating Agent" was especially helpful. We have told, and will continue to tell, everyone about our exceptional experience with Redfin. It's the only way to go in real estate.

i loved being able to see so many houses and pic from inside and out while looking.

We were very pleased with the timely cash refund and that was the biggest reason we went with Redfin. We didn't need a lot of hand holding through this process and could do a lot of the work ourselves, so Redfin's approach worked fine for us. The one improvement I would make however is availability of agents. There were times, especially on the weekends, when it was hard to get a hold of an agent. And while the agent who handled our purchase, Anna Nevares, was great; the previous agent we dealt with was a little slow in submitting our offer and someone beat us to a house that we really wanted to buy. That would be the only down side that we encountered.

Anna Nevares and Angela Carr have been lifesavers over and over again during an even more challenging transaction than expected on a foreclosure property. When we would feel like throwing the towel in or when we didn't know what to do, one or both of these ladies would be there to cheer us up, find solutions, and relentlessly keep the process rolling. When a wildfire then an eviction notice (in error) came soon after closing, Anna was still there for us. We are so grateful to Redfin and these excellent people they gave us!!!
