Febe was fantastic to work with. She's diligent, has great communication, and was able to explain certain aspects of the transaction in plain English so I could understand what was going on. As a first time home buyer, she made it very simple stupid by explaining every step of the process. She kept herself very accessible to any questions I had, and though there was a little delay due to the broker, she was able to guide me through. I would recommend Redfin to anybody. They have dedicated people handling their contracts and the same goes with their field agents.

We got the house. There were multiple offers and ours was the one the sellers picked. There is not a lot of hand holding with Redfin. There were some incorrect assumptions we made that Febe did not correct. I never actually met Febe. The field agents are great. The refund is awesome. Don't expect anyone to hold your hand. The process felt very similar to making vacation plans without a travel agent. As a buyer, you have more ownership in the process. After the offer was accepted, we closed in less than a month. We actually closed early, as we wanted to. Febe made some great recommendations for our lender and home inspector. Redfin did arrange a home inspector to come out on short notice when we were having problems finding someone. In all, Redfin and Febe were there when we needed them.

Febe was easy to get a hold of, helpful in the negotiations and worked very hard (as did the whole Redfin team) when we had some problems.

It is a REO (bank owned house). With Febe's help we win the bidding war with the price we still think a good ideal. With the lowest fee we get the most valuable professional service. We worked with Febe for four months while searching for a house. During that time, we bid on three houses. The first bid was lost over price; the second failed the inspection; but the third, the house of our dreams, was successful. Throughout the ups and downs of the search, Febe was there for us. She provided excellent advice about the housing market and led us thru the many steps of the bidding process. She was incredibly patient and never tried to pressure us into accepting a deal. She is a true professional in a field full of amateurs. Any buyer who works with Febe is lucky to have her on their side.

Febe had to deal with a first-time homebuyer (me), which I'm sure can be annoying at times - lots of questions, very little understanding of the buying process, flip/flopping on which houses I wanted to big on, etc. She is very professional and never got frustrated, obviously knew exactly what she was doing, and was all-around a pleasure to work with. I bid on a total of 4 houses before closing on my final house, with Febe providing feedback for me for each house along the way. I'm thrilled that I got such great customer service, PLUS I got all of my closing costs covered with the Redfin discount (plus $$$ to spare in the form of a Redfin check)!

Febe and her team made our first home-buying experience a fantastic one. Febe was the consummate professional (always very responsive and very detail-oriented). Can't say enough good things about Febe, her team and Redfin.

I retained Febe's services for the purchase of my first home, and overall had a good experience with her and Dorcas, her transaction coordinator. Febe was extremely knowledgeable and was very patient with me when I bombarded her with incessant questions. I was definitely a high maintenance client, but Febe was able to accomodate most of my needs, even when I changed loan terms and my closing date at the last minute. She even went out of her way to provide a partial credit for a fan kit that I wanted for the fireplace. In the end, I think we were able to negotiate a reasonable deal for my home. However, as a first time homebuyer, I did feel like perhaps I could have been guided through the process a little better. I found myself catching little mistakes in the contracts and following up with Febe and Dorcas on important dates and documents instead of the other way around. But given her workload, it was probably unrealistic to assume that she would have the time to focus on every little detail. Overall, I would defintely recommend Febe's services to anybody looking to purchase a home, but also advise first time homebuyers who use Redfin to be as prepared as possible and take responsibility for ensuring that closing happens smoothly and efficiently.

Over the 6 months that we worked together, Febe was a consummate professional that made sure all my needs were met. She responded to questions quickly and at most any hour. I think I probably fit the profile of a "needy client". Although, Febe never made me feel that way. She was always positive and reassuring. In addition to perfectly representing my interests in the transactions, Febe was also very helpful with my own decision processes. For instance, she was very supportive when I had to walk away from a home that could not pass inspection. She assured me that I would soon find another home that I really loved. Eventually I did. Unfortunately, the purchase was made difficult because the property is badly in need of a new roof. Febe found creative solutions to make sure that the roof problem was addressed in a way that would work for me. She went over and above what one would expect from a real estate agent. I was often surprised at her commitment. There was at least one occasion where I was ready to give up, but she kept working. She eventually found solutions to all the obstacles and closed the deal for me. I very much appreciate everything she has done and will strongly recommend her to anyone buying a house. Thanks.

Febe and her staff were exceptionally helpful in closing the deal with a Seller who raised numerous ethical concerns. Their advice and guidance throughout the negotiation process enables us to get into the house of our choice.

We had a number of things go wrong with the purchase and Febe remained calm throughout the whole process. She always knew what the next step was and I felt comfortable that everything within her control would be fine. Her assistant Chelsea was also fantastic and picked up if Febe was out. While I am not a first time home buyer, I got a lot more assistance and information from Febe than I did with my traditional agent.

In the past we have worked with "traditional" real estate agents. Redfin's process was unclear at times in terms of who to talk to for what etc. More communication is always better than less.

Febe was great - I would completely recommend both working with Febe and her team and with Redfin to friends and family. In fact, I already have! Great service, great savings. Only drawback was that we bought a bit further north than your usual service area; I would recommend putting out your feelers a little wider into non-traditional area so your team is more familiar with pricing, etc. in those areas.

Febe was good to work with. We would have appreciated clearer communication with her. There were tiems when the Redfin process was not clear to us, particular who the different members of her team are and what they do. We have previously worked with "traditional" real estate agents, so this was a switch for us. We also felt that Febe could have better advised us on the closing dates for our properties so as not to leave us homeless while we transition between homes. Throughout the negotiation process we were very curious with "what's going on". More information from Febe would have been appreciated, particularly details of where our sellers were in their decision process and what their issues were.

Working with Febe has been a pleasure; she handled everything better than I expected. I think I'm spoiled now and hope Febe is around in 5-10 years if/when we decide to do another real estate purchase.

I was hoping for a little more advise regarding how much to offer but she never would recommend a price. Instead we came up with the offers and she presented them. As soon as our offer was accepted, Chelsea contacted us with the next steps. Chelsea was so helpful. She told us exactly what to expect and was very prompt with answering our emails and phone calls. We would definitely recommend Chelsea to anyone and Redfin in general, but I would be hesitant recommend Febe.

Febe is fantastic. We moved to Seattle from the midwest, so her advice was invaluable. She has a deep understanding of the neighborhoods and of the prevailing market conditions. And she is always patient and upbeat no matter how many dumb questions an out-of-towner might have!

Simply put, Febe and team were the experts on my transaction so that I didn't have to be. When I was first putting in my offer, the listing price, some of the comps, and the advice I was getting from people were all conflicting. So Febe was willing to sit down with me and talk through all the different permutations and how they would work out in negotiations. She was great about letting me know what to expect, and in the end, she was right about where we would end up. I feel like with Febe I got the best possible offer I could accepted. I mentioned "and team" earlier because once we hit that mutual acceptance, I transitioned to working with Febe's associate agent, Chelsea. I have an amazing amount of respect for the amount of patience she must have. I was trying to close early, but never knew if it was going to be "tomorrow" or "a week from now" because something new kept popping up at the last minute. Every time this happened though, Chelsea would both be on top of it (even on a Sunday evening!), and be willing to spend five minutes listening to me complain about why this couldn't have come up earlier, all while remaining professional and a joy to work with. Febe and Chelsea both fought for me to help my deal succeed, and in the end, I couldn't be happier with the service I received, or my new home.

One word of wisdom I would give to other first time buyers, be sure to ask for an experienced field agent when doing your initial home tours, even with all the research it pays to have someone knowledgeable when touring.

Febe was a pleasure to work with. She was always quick to respond to email, had offer documents ready to be signed minutes after we discussed the terms, intelligently answered all the questions I had, and went out of her way to drop off my HOA binder at my apartment in Redmond, saving me a trip to Seattle. She made the transaction as painless as possible. Getting the commission refund was just icing on the cake. I'd work with Febe (and Corey, my transaction coordinator) anytime!

I passionately dislike Realtors TM, but working with Redfin and Febe was a pleasure, they did the work they needed to and in a timely fashion and for a much more reasonable fee than a traditional agent. The website is the best, the search features far outweigh anythings else out there.

Febe was very friendly and great in responding back to questions. But we were very disppointed that she did not advice us on what would be a great price for negotiations and what upgrades can we ask for? we are a first time home buyers and were banking on Febe's experience and skill set to get us a great price. She did no research on the near by houses. Oh what a disappointment. If only we were not under the illusion that we were in good hands, we would have not had such a rip off.

Febe and Chelsea were outstanding - they were professional, and in contrast to the other agents we've worked with in the past, had our best interests at heart in a negotiation. We were thrilled with the level of service from Redfin, their attention to detail, and every other aspect of the service. Redfin provides significantly better levels of service vs. traditional agents - the fact you get to share in the buying agents commission is simply an added bonus.

Febe was great. My home purchase was not the most straight-forward, but she was very knowlegeable and helpful and got us through all the issues. Super-responsive too, even following up quickly when she was supposed to be on vacation!

It doesn't get any better. This is my second real estate transaction through Febe / Redfin. At one point it looked like that the deal was going to fall apart but Febe worked very hard to ensure that the deal was sealed. It is clear that Redfin has the best customer service there is to offer. I cannot imagine going elsewhere for my real estate needs and wish that there were other companies like Redfin for other services. It just might be what we need to jump start the economy.

I was pleased that our Redfin agent and her coworkers even assisted with helping us find professionals to give repair estimates during one of our 3-day time crunches.

Everything was very good. Although it took me several months to find a new home, as I was having trouble to sell my previous house, I never felt pressured by Redfin agents to speed up my decision. Overall it has been a great experience.

As veteran home buyers, this was the most efficient transaction we have ever experienced. The reduced real estate agent costs are a bonus!

Our main agent Febe was extremely helpful in coordinating our purchase; she had to deal with a condensed schedule, out of town owners, out of town buyers, multiple inspections, etc. and all was done quickly and with great professionalism. Corey also deserves a big 'thank you' from us for handling a lot of the background details. We were very happy with him as was our mortgage lender.

I loved Redfin and I have already recommended it to several friends. Febe Cude was great, and so was Marne Buchanan. The only problem or frustration I had was something that you might have already fixed. I could not view homes Weds, Thurs or Fri, except in the evening but could go out on Sat, Sun, Mon or Tues. I would see homes on Thurs evening but could not book any other tours on Sat or Sunday because all the agents were already booked. And no one told me ahead of time that I would not be able to book over the weekend. Even then it was a struggle to get someone on Mon or Tues, so I would have to waste 3 or 4 days because I could only book one viewing of 6 houses at a time and not a slate of them in advance for several days in a row.I hope that makes sense. I love this use of technology and having all the information in such a user friendly format. Thanks for all your help and I look forward to making more referrals to you.

Would like "For Sale" sign removed

I was originally approached by your finance people about a loan. They were not very responsive and could not beat the procing I received directly from Wells.

I feel that the direct agent should see the property chosen at least once to better advise the client

I can't even begin to describe how happy my husband and I are with Redfin! We first decided to sell our house and worked with Loren Ellingson. In this down market, we got an offer on our house within 10 days of putting it on the market! When we started to search for a new home, Loren went above and beyond to help us. Since our dream home was a short-sale, he got special approval for us to work with Redfin on the sale and even contacted the listing agent for us since he had worked with the agent in the past.Once we decided to put in an offer, Febe Cude took over and was spectacular. Febe and Loren were always there to give their sage advice and kept us up-to-date with all the necessary paperwork, etc.Selling our home and buying a new home with Redfin has been such a fabulous experience. I'm sure my friends are going crazy listening to me rave about Redfin constantly! If you are selling or buying a home, I can't recommend Redfin enough.I have a huge issue with "traditional" real estate agents. I've never felt like they had MY interests at heart - just their commission. But with Redfin, I got all the benefits of having an agent (advice, etc.) but really felt like they were working FOR ME, not for the commission.If you are selling and/or buying, you'd be crazy to work with anyone other than Redfin. We are so happy with our dream home, but it's bitter sweet because I feel like we made two new friends in Febe and Loren! Thanks, Redfin. For everything!

pretty i did all the required followups for my home closing - probably b'cos my lender only talks to individuals. I feel transaction co-od can be more proactive and give lots of heads-up.Also, Redfin financial ROCKS!, there prices r low and they r best transparent broker...... with just once problem (for which i dropped them), that's they work only with ONE bank.

I wanted to give kudos to the other field agents who helped me during the home buying process. Thanks to Daren Carper (friendly and polite), Brian (very friendly, jovial and polite) and Nelia (lifesaver when I really needed it!).I had a great experience with Redfin. Febe and Melissa were very good to work with.There were only two times that I was frustrated: first with my inspector but that was not the fault of Redfin; second, was waiting until the last minute to have my signing date with title and escrow. My signing meeting was the day before closing. I heard at the last minute when my meeting was. I had to pull strings at work to allow time to leave because I am in a direct service position with lots of appointments with clients so it's harder to leave the office. I would have liked more communication between my transaction coordinator and escrow to try to set a meeting earlier.Otherwise, I had a very good experience with Redfin and will be recommending the company to my friends!

It would help if Redfin can share/point to selling price of apartments in the same complex. More data from the agent about pricing would have been helpful to me.

Febe Cude was absolutely awesome to work with. We had a somewhat complex transaction -- a collapsed sewer line was discovered that was replaced during the process. Through everything, Febe was smart, responsive, decisive, gave great advice, and was fun to work with. She made several in-person visits to the house to check on things. We could not have been happier with Febe, or Redfin overall. Please quote us on this on the website under Febe's profile!!

Include fractions (e.g. 1.25, 1.75) when accounting for the number of bathrooms.

More help on determining an offering price. That's the area we struggled with the most and would have liked more help on. Also, perhaps more drive to coordinate with the seller to complete blue-tape items or nail down dates for completion. I'm not sure if our urgency was communicated (the ball may have been dropped by the seller's agent).
