Gordon was great! Very timely and did everything that was needed to move through the home buying process smoothly. I would definitely recommend redfin and Gordon to my friends. |

Gordon has been helpful throughout our process. He's never failed to answer any questions we have asked and we have confidence in his answers. Working with Redfin is a little different to how we have worked with non-redin realtors (a little less hand-holding), but I think Gordon does as good a job as any in the Redfin business model. Overall two thumbs up. |

What Clients Are Saying about Gordon
"Gordon helped my wife and I sell our home in April 2006. It was the first and only home we have sold. At that time, Gordon was just an acquaintance. Our wives met at the preschool our kids attended. He seemed like an honest fellow, so we contacted him when we decided to sell our home and buy another. He helped us with both transactions, but didn't charge any fee for the purchase because it was a for sale by owner. Advising and supporting us in that process without charge was a generous act. I still remember the initial meeting. The thing that struck me about Gordon was his honesty. He was so up front and open about the sales process, what we could expect and what his role was. He was completely transparent about the way that real estate transactions work, and especially his commission, and allowed us to choose the rates we wanted to set for his and the buying agent's commissions. His advice about preparing the house and setting the price was very clear and reasonable, and gave us a sense of confidence in the decisions we were making. He left us in the driver's seat and made it clear that all of the decisions were ours, but also explained the parameters clearly so we could feel comfortable with our decisions.
My wife and I felt that when we asked him, "How would you do it if it were your house?", we could trust his answer like that of a good, dependable doctor. In every way, his manner, way of communicating, and the content of his presentation and information built trust for us that made the transaction very comfortable. In terms of results, we had three offers on the first day, one of which was for $300,000 with dependable financing--and above the asking price. We had purchased the house in 2001 for $200,000. We accepted the offer and the transaction went so smoothly that I can't even remember the details after that. Since then, Gordon has become one of my best friends, so I can attest to his honesty, integrity and positive will through several years of personal contact. He is an extremely honest individual who inspires trust in others, gives great advice, and has a strong knowledge of real estate. As a support and adviser in the house buying and selling process, I can think of no one I would rather have in my corner. You guys are lucky to have landed such a trustworthy and capable agent and employee."
