Joyti has been working with me for like, 8 months, something in that realm. We went through the process of 5 or so offers and I can personally vouch that Joyti goes above and beyond her duties. If there is an offer that is due, she'll get it in even if it requires her to work beyond her scheduled hours. She's prompt, responsive, professional and most seemingly unbiased. Unlike a previous real estate agent that I've had in the past, Joyti will never push you to put in a higher offer--she tells you what may put you in a better position for buying a house but she NEVER puts any pressure on you to go beyond your budget. Joyti also puts up with a lot idiot realtors out there and is probably the most patient person I've dealt with in a while--if I was in Joyti's position I'd probably stick a pencil in my eye. Although most of the times Joyti doesn't pick up her phone if you leave her a voicemail she does call back relatively quick. I've found that e-mailing (or even texting) is the best route to go. The only negative mark is that I never got to meet Joyti in person but that's such a minor negative that it's practically negible. Hopefully she can make it to the house warming! Joyti also works with Sara Masey (the transaction coordinator) who is a dream to work with. Sara responds to e-mails promptly and is always in the loop of whats going on. Her instructions are simple but if you have any questions she's more than happy to clarify anything! Last but not least I have to review Celeste Mullen, who has been our "door opener" and all around another great person to deal with. Celeste is professional, on-time, and very friendly to talk to. What is so great about all these ladies is that they all know what they are doing! No incompetence, no fumbling around looking for papers and files, no pointing fingers in two directions--everybody knew what they were doing and worked well with each other! It's been a pleasure having Joyti, Sara and Celeste working with me. The road to getting a house has been nightmarish at times but now I finally have a place on my own to call home. Home sweet home. :)

Fantastic! Joyti was always available. She clearly has a breadth and depth of knowledge in the RE area that were instrumental in closing our deal (which was not an easy one).

it's convenience to work with

Joyti was amazing! My wife and I were first time home buyers and she walked us through every step of the way, and was always willing to answer any and all questions we had. Redfin as a whole was a fantastic experience (we just got back $8550 in refund) and Joyti and her team of field agents and office assistants were really on the ball the whole time, from our initial offer through close of escrow. We had a friend who was originally our agent (a traditional agent) who told us when we left her for Redfin "good luck with any negotiations down the road, as you won't get the same service with Redfin." We are happy to report, she was wrong. Throughout all of the negotiations, Joyti was a total pro, and always genuinely felt like she was looking out for our best interest (whereas with traditional relators, sometimes it feels like they wouldn't mind if the price goes up, as it means more money for them). Joyti was great via email, usually responding within minutes, and great by phone as well, just depending on the amount of communication necessary. We also ran into a major unforeseen problem with our lender a few days from closing and Joyti and the Redfin staff went so far above and beyond the call of duty to help my wife and I move on the date we had planned, it was amazing. I know I sound like an Redfin employee with all this praise, but I promise, I am not, I am typing this from my brand new home in Magnolia Park area of Burbank. We could not be happier with Joyti and the whole Redfin experience. Thanks so much!!!

Joyti is an excellent agent, extremely hard working, organized, efficient, patient and down-to-earth. She persevered with us through a long search and a good number of places where we were out bid. Always pleasant and courteous. She really bends over backwards to answer questions rapidly even if outside of standard work hours. The only thing I would suggest is giving advanced notice and a backup broker's contact info during those few times when she is planning to be out of contact.. in case something pressing comes up with an offer or negotiations.

Joyti was prompt, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the whole purchasing process. My wife and I were first-time homebuyers, and Joyti guided us through everything from making an offer to closing escrow.

I enjoyed working with Joyti. She was committed and enthusiastic throughout the process. She was also patient with us which we appreciated since it was our first home purchase. Joyti expertly guided us through the process and let us know what to expect at each stage. It was a pleasure working with her.

Joyti was great. She was very responsive and accessible and gave us helpful advice. She also checked in with us often to make sure everything was okay and going smoothly. The Redfin process in general is quite different in that you never meet your direct agent and there is a lot faxing involved, but you can't beat the rebate so I would definitely recommend to others.

Amazing! We can't say enough good things about our Redfin experience. Joyti and Sara were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. They had infinite patience for all of questions (we had a lot!), and they answered all of them right away. They stayed on top of all the issues during closing and did an outstanding job of keeping in touch with the escrow company, the seller's agent, the bank, etc... to make sure everyone was doing what they needed to do in order for us to close on time. I would definitely recommend Joyti, Sara and Redfin to any of our friends in the market to purchase a home.

Joyti G. and her team are an outstanding group of real estate professionals. Everyone from Redfin I had contact with was exceptionally competent and knowledgeable. Joyti was particularly helpful during our long and difficult negotiations with a rather unmotivated seller, and continued to be invaluable in dealing with the myriad of problems the seller posed after the contract was signed. I was referred to Redfin from a friend who had nothing but amazing things to say about the company and who, unbeknown to me, also used Joyti to buy their first home. My relationship with the very sweet Joyti began with me calling her in a panic while on an airplane, just about to depart for the weekend, and in a panic to make an offer on a house I found and toured through Redfin. I actually made an offer on the FIRST house I toured on the very FIRST day I began seeing houses, with John Lockhart on his FIRST day of working for Redfin! Joyti and Sara Masey and John Lockhart and Todd Lethbridge were extremely PROFESSIONAL, PUNCTUAL, and PERSONAL throughout the whole process. Being my first time buying a home, I had A LOT of questions and concerns and probably unnecessary anxiety, but everyone at Redfin was always happy to help. They really cared about my purchase, as well as my happiness and satisfaction, even now a week after Escrow has closed. Joyti (along with Sara and Todd) gave us a lot of help as we dealt with a very difficult seller's agent. We're very happy that we chose to use Redfin for our home purchase.

Joyti was attentive to our concerns and always made us feel like she was our advocate in the home buying process! She was caring and helped us every step of the way.

I would enthusiastically recommend Joyti's real estate services to my friends. She was extremely professional and quick to respond to emails/calls, even sometimes during her non-business hours. I had a consultation with a lawyer who praised the details that Joyti included in our purchase agreement contract. Joyti even recommended that we give a lower offer on our house than I had told her that I'd be willing to give. I'll never forget her words: "We want to get you into this house for the least amount of money possible". You would not get that kind of advice from any other real estate agent whose pay is usually based on a percentage of the purchase price. Wow. Redfin's rating system only covers a range of 0-10, but this was way beyond a 10+ experience. Joyti and Sara guided us through a harrowing buying process, given the current real estate climate. My lender was a nightmare to work with and the Redfin team handled communication with myself and the seller in a beyond professional manner, keeping everybody level-headed and seeing the deal through, even though, due to lender issues, we closed almost a month late. I would highly recommend (and already have) Joyti and Sara to anybody without hesitation. Thanks again to both of you and your field agents for enabling our dream!

We would like to extend our sincere and highest gratitude to Joyti for her wonderful work. We have a very pleasant experience working and interacting with her. In additional to being thoroughly knowledgeable and technically superb in advising us along every step of the purchase, Joyti is thorough and completely customer oriented. She stays on top of things, no matter when (out of normal office hours, meal times, late nights, weekends) and where. Joyti is CONTINUOUSLY reachable either on the phone or via emails. Over the one-month period from the initial offer to the time we took the possession of the property, we exchanged more than 700 emails and numerous phone conversations. She handled all these loads -- seemingly insurmountable in hindsight -- with grace, high-efficiency, completely thoroughness, and a high standard of service attitude. As you might be aware, we encountered several hurdles, in particular, non-responsive communication and questionable work quality from the buyers' representation. Nevertheless, Joyti had been engaging us, them and Redfin unyieldingly, fighting for us and looking after our interests aggressively. We interacted before with buyers agent who are on commission and we cannot help but noticing Joyti has been doing 10 times more the work than those agents! We have had an utterly satisfying experience with Redfin and Joyti is such an important and integral part to it. Combining the wonderful and sensible business ideas of Redfin, and equally importantly, talents, vigor and enthusiasm from Joyti and her alike, you company will see continuous and even bigger success ahead!

We are very happy with our RedFin experience. Joyti helped us work through several difficult situations. After the inspection indentified a broken air conditioning system, Joyti helped us to negotiate a credit from the seller for the repairs. And after the Final Inspection, when we discovered the termite infestation had not been completely abated, Joyti helped convince the seller to arrange a full fumigation. Joyti is very effective during the closing process. There were so many different parties involved: Selling Agent, Lender, Insurance Company, Escrow, Title, Inspectors (General, Pluming, HVAC, Plumbing, and Termite) any one of these parties can jeopardize the deal. When our lender kept fumbling with the loan commitment document, Joyti called our leader and helped get things back on track. Joyti was also very responsive to our questions and needs, she returned all of our calls, even on weekends and evenings. We would also like to express our gratitude to Todd Lethbridge for all his advice and support. Todd was our tour guide while we were shopping. But during the inspections, Todd helped us understand what to look for, and gave us great advice on how to work with the inspectors and selling agent. When the inspection turned up problems with the house, Todd provided us with contacts to get estimates for repair, and advised us how to prioritize those repairs. Working with Todd was like having a second buying agent who specializes in the details of the property.

Joyti is really on top of things. If only all the Realtors out there were as competent as Joyti, I'm sure transactions would go much smoother.

Joyti was great when it came to communicating with us, both in terms of keeping us informed but also by responding to us in a very timely manner. She also responded and worked with us over the weekend when we had pressing concerns or questions. Joyti also remained in contact with us after closing to ensure things with the move were going OK and to provide us with some additional and appreciated information. As first-time homebuyers, her patience was also greatly appreciated. In general, Joyti's professionalism made other challenging aspects of the transaction go as smoothly as possible. One area of improvement may be the communications between Joyti and the field agent, as the field agent is the "eyes and ears" for Joyti when it comes to the properties.

Joyti got us the house we wanted for under $10,000 of the asking price. In addition she negotiated a $4,200 rebate from the bank that owned the home. She was always available throughout the entire process, even weekends. She was patient, thorough and prompt. We would gladly work with her again. I highly recommend her.

There is no hand holding or any promises to be friends after the transaction like you get with other real estate agents. But if you're willing to do the research yourself and familiar with what to look for and ask, the rebate and hassle-free "do it at your own pace" transactions make it worth it. Joyti was always quick with responses and very knowledgeable - a great agent. I also had a great experience with Todd and would absolutely recommend both.

Fast, friendly, enthusiastic, and focused on getting a fair deal for their clients. Their response time is amazing, we always had our questions answered quickly.

There may be a disconnect regarding the process of having one person help in viewing the prospective house, and another person from Redfin placing a bid and negotiating the contract.

Working with Joyti and the team was great. The service was outstanding and the team was extremely responsive. They all gave great advice and support throughout the entire process. I would defintely (and already have) recommended them to others.

We are glad that we chose Redfin for purchasing our 2nd house. The transaction did not go smoothly because we had to go through lots of negotiation and dealing with uncooperation from the sellers; however, Redfin had helped us close the transaction before the planned close of escrow date. Although the sellers did not repair the last item they had agreed on the final walk-thru, we would like to specially thank Erin, Joyti, and Sara for their hard work. We really like the details of the congratulation letter when the offer was accepted; it tells the buyer exactly what to do and deadlines for everything.

Redfin was very easy to use, and if you're internet savvy and like researching real estate on your own time, then Redfin is the way to go. Plus, the refund they give makes it all the worthwhile

Overall we were very impressed. A couple SNAFUs along the way (as you would expect with any real estate transaction), but when our closing got complicated, Redfin (Dave Billings) came to the rescue and was beyond amazing (I felt guilty getting the refund check! -- of course that didn't stop me from depositing it ; ) ). Thanks for everything!

Expand coverage areas even when you don't have agents on the ground yet -- you could gauge interest, and the way you present even just MLS listings is uniquely valuable. A lot of the people I would recommend you to are in un-covered metro areas. Could be a way to build a pipeline before you hire agents. Oh, but the new neighborhood pages kick ass -- wish you had those a few months ago ;)

A more automated system where we can retrieve all documents that we signed in our accounts.

We've been working with redfin for the last six months and during this time we have seen a lot of up-grades to the site. These up-grades have been extremely helpful.

The listing of inspection services that was provided was not very good or detailed; it would help if it was updated to include name, phone number, website, and type of inspection service. It included a number of home inspectors, but not many other types such as chimney, electrical, plumbing, heating, etc. Also, I heard that many real estate agents will give a listing of phone numbers at the final walkthrough - such as the numbers/websites for common items that the homeowner will have to contact (water, trash, electricity, gas, cable, etc.). It would be helpful if you developed this type of listing to give to your customers, and I don't believe that it would be too time consuming or take away from your bottom line. However, altogether I was satisfied with the service.

The only thing I would change is improved communication during the escrow process. At times I felt that both the transaction coordinator and Redfin agent assumed the other had told me of an update, but neither had. That said, Redfin is amazing. My agent went beyond all expectations when I was having problems getting a loan--without someone as experienced and helpful as her, my wife and I would still be renting. I hope I can by another house some day so I can use Redfin again!

Redfin is a very good service. The biggest challenge for the company is getting the word out. My wife and I have recommended the service to some of our friends (they had never heard of Redfin). For people who are willing to do their homework, I can't think of a better way to buy. I will help spread the word.
