Kameron did an excellent job in making several offers for us before we finally got one accepted. He communicated very effectively and had excellent availability for answering our questions. For the closing, Kameron was very diligent in making sure all the details and deadlines were met. He even successfully fought for a repair credit from the seller/bank, which isn't easy. We ultimately enjoyed Kameron's great service and the Redfin experience in which you can see, at particularly difficult times along the path to closing, that Redfin does not just steer you quickly to close but looks out for your interests. In line with this, we were very happy that Redfin provided a list of trades people for all sorts of repairs and such. As Redfin states they will not take kick backs, I thought this list to be very helpful for the anticipated repairs we will need having bought a bank owned property. I will also say that I wasn't always sure that Redfin was going to work out for us. Since buying a home in SoCal is so difficult, I started to suspect Redfin was part of the problem. Redfin does have some limitations that I think you might not experience with an excellent conventional agent. However, Redfin did provide good service and was diligent in the closing process, and there are so many not-so-excellent agents (unscrupulous and shady ones too), that Redfin turned out to be the best choice for us, and the big refund wasn't bad either. |

Having purchased and sold a property before with a traditional broker/agent, the frugal side of me was drawn to Redfin's offer --though a bit reluctantly. Kameron turned out to be a far better, more attentive and available agent than my 'traditional' one. He was great to work with! I'd sincerely recommend both Kameron and the Redfin model to anyone.

Very fast responses. I have a strong preference for email (over phone) and Kameron was able to respond quickly and seemed always available. redfin offer process was simple for us to complete even though I was away on business at the time. (My husband and I were each able to sign the contract online.) Caveat: Kameron had not seen the house we offered on, so you need to be ready to do the research on your own before offering.

I am very happy with Kameron's service for my offer on this house. I also think it is very easy and convenient to submit an offer through Redfin. The only thing I did not like this time is that we were outbid just slightly by another offer even though our offer is above the asking price. |

Kameron made a fairly long drive of 30 miles at least three times to complete this sale. Unlike other agents we worked with, he didn't make mistakes on any of the paperwork! Don't be afraid to make a lower offer than he might think you need in this buyer's market. We probably could have offered 1-2% less than we paid if we haggled over the selling price. He did help us get some of that back for repairs though. Overall, we are happy with our new home and very happy to get our Redfin rebate! |

Kameron responded reasonably fast to all of my questions and was available when needed. He was pleasant to deal with and knowledgeable about the area. The only thing that frustrated me about him, and to the point that I wouldn't recommend him, is that when a counter offer came in, it appeared that he hadn't read it. He said the counter offer "didn't look that bad!" when it was a counter offer to multiple people with a minimum of over 15% above the asking price. In what world is that "not that bad" Obviously I am mainly upset about being priced out of the house, which is not his fault, but his email game me false hope, and with the stress of buying a home that's the last thing I need. I would definitely consider using redfin to make another offer on a house, but would rather try my luck with another agent.

It's my goal to always communicate clearly and effectively with my clients. In this situation, I emailed a counteroffer to my client accompanied by what was intended to be an ironic note regarding the nature of the counteroffer. Unfortunately, my email was not clear and was misinterpreted by my client. Moving forward I'll make sure that my emails are as clear as possible and not subject to misinterpretation.

My experience with Kameron has been terrific. He has been patient in answering my questions and responding to my requests for additional information. He has been easy to reach and has always responded and followed up in a very timeline manner. Overall, I might have preferred a little more explanation of what to expect during home-buying process (contingencies, escrow, etc) once the offer was accepted but relying on Kameron to guide me through the process as a first-time homebuyer has worked out fine. I would definitely recommend and choose to work with Kameron again.
