There seemed to be a lot of communication issues, but I'm not sure who is to blame between Karen, the owner (bank), the listing agent, escrow, the lender... we closed a month later than originally anticipated, but it turned out to be for the best. Several people (family, friends, the gentleman who cleaned the carpet) told me that I was handling things my agent should have been handling with regard to repairs and cleaning around the house before escrow closed. I don't feel that she pushed the seller to get us the best deal. Karen seemed to be more concerned with the "sales" aspect where her husband Todd was more involved with the small (but important) details. They complement each other well. Overall I am happy because I got a house I really liked, but I feel like I did a lot of the work myself. It was easy to communicate with Karen - if she couldn't answer the phone she always called me back within a few hours, even if she didn't know anything new.
