Mark and Cindy(Realtor who did house showings for us) are truly professionals. I enjoyed the whole experience of working with them. If I might make a suggestion... would it be possible for a buyer, after an offer has been made, to obtain a second phone number for Mark ? A few times, it was a little difficult to contact Mark on the phone. I think it was because your company is growing in leaps and bounds. However, at all times, I was totally confident in Mark's abilities. I will certainly recommend your company and Mark.

We worked with Mark for 16 months looking for a home. We toured quite a few homes and Mark always worked hard to get us in to see the homes quickly and during times we were available. We made offers on 5 houses, and Mark was quick and easy to work with in preparing the offers and following up on the seller-owned homes. He also was very responsive to our phone calls and e-mails. He was knowledgeable and gave us tips on where to find useful market information. The transaction for the bank owned home we finally bought took a while. We did some of the leg work as it seemed like Mark was willing to wait for things to happen. He did help a lot in the transaction in terms of working with the other realtor involved. Overall we were happy with our experience with Mark and with Redfin.

In the purchasing my first home I found that Mark was very knowledgeable and helpful during the entire process. I had a great experience and recommend him to anybody. Many thanks Mark!

Mark did a good job. Was very proactive in getting all documents and contract changes through quickly. I felt that he was a bit indifferent during the price negotiation and property inspection. Overall the home buying experience through Mark was satisfactory.

My experience with Mark and Patrick Lusk (DuPage County agent) was great. They were willing and able to answer my questions, but did not really try to push any particular property. They were generally able to work with my weekend-only viewing schedules. They helped me all the way from locating a place, through the offer process, and showed up at the closing. It was great to have a buyer-oriented team on my side!

Mark was there every time we needed anything, from submitting the initial offer through signing the last document at closing. We are very happy with our new home!

Mark was truly amazing from beginning to end. In today's complicated and ever-changing banking rules, Mark kept us up to speed and calm throughout a tricky and time sensitive closing. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Thanks again to Mark for a memorable home buying experience!

Our experience with Redfin was great. Both Mark and the field agent we worked with, Cindy Haan were excellent. They did a great job of taking their cue from us; if we expressed a desire for more of their input/guidance, they provided it, but were not overbearing and let us lead when we wanted to. I can highly recommend using redfin to purchase, especially if you are familiar with the area you are looking to purchase.

Mark has been very responsive and helpful. We requested to tour the house we eventually bought in the evening of the day the house was listed. Mark got us into the house the next day (which was a Sunday) and helped us prepare, negotiate, and secure a signed contract within 24 hours. If you want a good deal, someone who can act that fast and refund you half of the commissions is your top choice.

I found the Redfin service (and Mark's service) to be exactly what we were looking for. Yes, we wound up doing some work ourselves, but we were ok with that and probably would have done that kind of stuff anyway. For the buyer who is willing to get (very) involved in the process, this is a great platform.

Mark is a nice gentleman, very professional and always there to answer our questions and concerns. We strongly recommend him to all our friends. It was a real pleasure to work with him to buy our new house.

Mark was very responsive and very helpful with our home purchase.

Being a first-time home buyer, I came into the process without a lot of domain knowledge. Mark was great about answering all my questions and guiding me along from beginning to end. He was always responsive and quick to return my calls, making sure I never felt like I was flying solo on any decision.

Mark was amazing! He was amazing when it came to answering questions, following through with thing, and basically being there for us as we went through the whole buying process.

The experience has been amazing. Being a first time buyer, I had lots of questions. Marks was very patient either answering my questions or helping me find the right person to get the answers. The process of buying a condo is not easy, especially with the new regulation changes and busy re-finance market. Mark guided me through the entire process and helped me make the best decisions. I must have called Mark hundreds of times in the past few month, and his response has always been very prompt and I never had to wait for more than a couple hours to get the info from him. Before the closing, the buyer's agent was out of town and didn't want to show the condo for a walk through. Mark contacted him, his company and the attorney, in the end, I was able to get into the condo and do a thorough inspection before the closing! Overall, the service from Mark and Redfin was spectacular and I would recommend everyone to give it a try!

The showings where fine but did not do anything to make me feel I was being represented. The day of the move he did not come out as the sellers agent did and did a great job in helping with the problems we where having with the close. Whole family and friends to be honest are not too fond of this experience right now. Just calling and giving us what needs to be done and made it sounded like everything was a problem and made a joke to me " well you can rent instead of buying" when the closing was having problems. Not happy

Mark was very helpful in answering our questions - although at times we had to ask two times. We thought he was effective and helpful in preparing the offer and negotiating the price.

We were first-time homebuyers and appreciated Mark's relaxed style throughout the entire process. He was always willing to answer our questions in a timely manner, and his referrals for the inspector and attorney were very helpful. Mark was on top of deadlines and communicated frequently with the seller's agent, our attorney, and our lender to keep things moving. We could have used more guidance on our initial offer. Overall, our experience was extremely stressful, but Mark was a huge positive.

Mark Reitman and Redfin were just the kind of service my husband and I were looking for as first-time homebuyers. We took as many tours as we needed, and Mark was game for whatever we needed/wanted to do. No judgement, no pressure--we were in the driver's seat and Mark was our very helpful navigator. He very astutely point out or remind us about things we didn't know or had forgotten about (i.e. a final walk-through). It is clear Mark is a pro. Mark was available when we needed him, always within a reasonable amount of time and was especially quick with email, which I really appreciated. Overall, my husband and I whole-heartedly recommend Mark Reitman and Redfin and look forward to working with him again down the road.

Mark was always available to show us the houses we wanted to see, even with very short notice from us. He was always there before us and was never late for an appointment with us.

Mark did a great job of working with us on our home purchase. While he offered suggestions/help when asked, he was very good about letting us drive the process. We would recommend him to others.

I am an attorney but do not practice in real estate, so it was nice to have Mark available as a resource. From our offer until closing (and even afterwards), I picked his brain regarding a number of issues, and his opinions and advice were always useful. We probably weren't the easiest clients to work with (we searched for our house for months and went on quite a few tours), but Mark was very patient with us. It didn't seem to be quite as easy to get hold of Mark via telephone, but he did respond to my emails promptly and thoroughly every time. And he isn't just available M-F from 9-5; Mark worked with us a number of times over the weekend or at night. I would (and have) recommended Redfin to others, and I would not hesitate to use Mark again in the future.

Mark went above and beyond through the entire homebuying process and we would certainly recommend him to everyone we know who is looking to buy.

We ended up buying a home which was in a short sale situation. Mark advised us throughout the process, setting expectations of the length of time it takes, and continued to show us alternative homes. He exhibited great patience and understanding as we were new home buyers.

Our experience with Redfin, particularly Mark, was amazing! The website is so much more efficient than having someone guess what you will like, and after that Mark handled everything I would have expected an agent to handle and beyond. We were undoubtedly far more work than most agents would want to deal with and Mark always seemed thrilled to hear from us. After 8 months and one failed deal we finally found the place of our dreams. I highly recommend Redfin and Mark to everyone I talk to!

We had a Great experience with Mark. He always promptly returned our calls, was available and accommodating with any special circumstances. The whole process was very smooth. Highly Recommended! Great Service!! We look forward to working with Mark in the future!

He got the job done, but we did have some issues. There were multiple times where we asked for specific things, and never received any response. For example, I asked for a schedule of when I needed specific things done by (checks, inspections, etc...), but I never got so much as a response. Luckily my Lawyer and lender were able to help me, but some thing from my realtor would have been nice. I also asked for utility bills. Mark said that the utilities might not give that info, but that he would check. No response. At least call me back and tell me that you couldn't get the info. From my point of view, it just seems like he forgot. We had asked for a few other random things, but that's all I can remember off the top of my head. I understand that you guys aren't full service realtors. That's how you save money. I don't expect to get coddles, but I need someone to at least do what they say they are going to do.

Mark was very responsive in all my inquiries!

Mark and Redfin were exactly what we were looking for. Mark was extraordinarily responsive - literally responding to emails within minutes, even at night and over the weekend. We're first-time buyers, and he walked us through the process and answered all of our questions thoroughly. We were moving from across the country, and he helped us with all sorts of local information, from home inspectors to phone companies. We were in touch so frequently that I joked with him at the final inspection that I felt like after the close I'd be losing my best friend. If we had one minor gripe, it would only be that in retrospect we wish he had guided us to negotiate a little more aggressively with the seller. But overall a stellar experience, and we would definitely return to Mark and Redfin.

Working with Mark was great, his recommendations were all excellent, he kept things going as smoothly as possible and was always very easy and responsive to contact, and did a great job answering a never-ending stream of questions! We really enjoyed touring with Greg; he made tours a blast.

Marked is an adept problem-solver who ably provided solutions that were reasonable and fair even when negotiations got tough.

Mark Reitman and team (Greg and Pat) were a pleasure to work with throughout the whole home buying experience. The team knew what they were doing and helped step me through the process without any pressure or gotcha's. A definite A+ would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a home within the Chicagoland area.

Our experience with Redfin, Mark, and Greg has been nothing short of fantastic. As first time homebuyers, we were at first hesitant towards taking an alternative route to buying a home through Redfin. Mark made himself available to our many questions at all times of the day, and all days of the week. Our mortgage broker also commented to us that of all real estate agents she has worked with in the past, Mark was one of the easiest to work with. I was expecting to do everything by e-mail and expected very little personal touch but I was suprised by the personal touch that Mark provided by calling and actually coming out to the property to check on things personally when we ran into a snag. He recommended an attorney who was very personable and reasonably priced. It was a joy to work with Mark.

Mark Reitman was such a pleasure to work with! He was very responsive, thoughtful, and certainly knows what he is doing. His no pressure approach is just what we needed, and I have already recommended Redfin to several friends. You have a great product, and with Mark you have excellent implementation! We can't thank you enough!

A little upfront information about how specifically the rebate is processed would have been helpful. Other than that it was a wonderful experience. I will use you again.
