Miawand was very helpful. Responded quickly and efficiently and provided me with guidance regarding his opinion of the value of the home we were bidding on both from a market stand point and from a personal one to us (since he knew we really liked it). I appreciate his professionalism, but he also has enough of a personal touch to make you feel like he understands your own unique situation. |

Miawand was great. He answered all of our questions and made us feel very comfortable about the buying process. My only complaint was that the initial contact time between submitting the offer on redfin.com and receiving a call was over 2 days -- far longer than the 4 hour expectation I was given. |

When I first started w/ Miawand, and lost out on a deal, I wasn't sure about using Redfin or Miawand again. But I decided to give both a second chance and he helped me negotiate a good price for our house. I was happy with the final price and also happy when he helped us lower the purchase price after inspections came in. I think he got way too busy once we were in the closing pipeline. It's not to say that he didn't make sure I knew I can ask him any questions. It's just that he was a little hard to reach sometimes. I used Charmaine for a few days when he was gone and I think Charmaine was really good about getting back to you, even just responding with a "I got your email". Since Redfin tries to do everything a lot electronically, I think having the appearance of being REALLY reachable is a must. Another thing is that the agents are really stretched thin (East Bay). I learned after the first deal that I had to earn my rebate by doing my homework and having a good idea of the market. The agents can't specialize in specific neighborhoods and the more you know about yours and pricing in your neighborhood, the better. |

Miawand did his best supporting me win the transaction we worked on. The reason I gave that rating was because I had no information if our offer was accepted or not. Even though the listing agent informed us that another offer had been accepted, it did not go pending for long. This made me curious and made me feel that I was being kept in dark. This was the reason I gave that rating. Long story short, Miawand is an extremely hard working and supportive agent and definitely deserves the best rating. [Review edited by client on 04-29-2009.] |

He was very helpful and responsive through the whole process. He gave good suggestions and offered his opinion, but was flexible to our needs and wishes. He always responded to me quickly.

I have so much to say about the whole Redfin process. If only I had time to blog about the whole experience! I loved my field agent. He really is your traditional agent, and had so much advice and knowledge about things other than real estate, it really helped w/ the whole purchase. The lead agent is really only there to help you write an offer and guide you through that process. And since they can't specialize in areas, they go by the numbers, which is actually a plus sometimes.I found that they really weren't helpful at all with the search process. But that was okay once I figured out that I had to take an active role. Another thing that just wasn't made clear to me was who to contact about what. There were too many people and not one number to call. Sometimes I'd call one person and get referred to another. |

This was a very difficult sale and Miawand was a wonderful steady guide for the process. Besides his expertise in getting things pushed through with the bank, his limitless patience with us and our questions was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, anytime we needed help from someone other than Miawand things were more difficult. The tour and closing agents were typically slow to respond and took some prodding to get what we needed. |

I think it's probably good to use Redfin when the market is not so hot, but when places are selling really quickly, it's hard to find new places and schedule tours quickly enough to get an offer in before the place goes off the market. We saw one house we liked and would have made an offer on, but then it was gone the next morning after our tour! |

Due to the market condition here in SF South Bay, I has not been able to purchase a house yet. But through our search, Maiwand has been very helpful in getting property infos from the listing agents.
