Honestly after dealing with 2 other real estate agents in Long Island I just needed a change. So I checked Redfin and that's how I learn about Michael Daly. I liked the property at 830 Shell St., N. Baldwin, NY. I went to an open house for this property and decided to hit the ball. Well, I spoke with Michael, got myself pre-qualified for a loan, gave him my offer, and after a week I increased my offer by $10k. During this process I recommended Michael to two of my best friends. At that time his grading could have been between 9 - 10. Soon, I found him as little defensive agent. I didn't find him talking to owner + realtor with authority to buy. I didn't find him communicating with me as if he is up to the line to snatch the property for me. He is pretty quiet because I am not raising my offer. Well, if I have to raise my offer ONLY, then why do I need an agent ( what is my agent is suppose to do for me!!!!). I asked Michael now that he knows my limit and criteria, he could send me some listings as well. Sadly, I haven't received any listings from him whereas, I am still getting listings in my email from the other two agents...

While we always strive to get our buyers everything they want in a particular transaction, there are times when this is not possible because the buyer and seller are too far apart and neither will make the move that could lead to a mutually agreeable price. This was such a transaction.

It was a pleasure working Mr. Daly and his team. Not only did they perform above expectations for providing whatever information I requested and working within my schedule, the individuals he recommended for other aspects of the buying process also provided excellent service. They followed through on all promises, they went over and above from start to finish to make I was making informed decisions. All this without the sales pressure usually found at most agencies. I have started to recommend Redfin to anyone I know looking to buy a home. |

If I could grade Redfin and Michael Daly and his team I would give them an A+. When my husband and I first contacted Michael Daly of Redfin we immediately noticed a comforting difference in his personality, service and commitment to us that we did not experience with the other agents we were trying to work with. Redfin was different in that the service that they provided felt so much more personal and sincere. Almost immediately I felt a sense of trust with Michael and his crew that I had not felt with any of the other realties that we had worked with. There was a certain level of pressure working with most other agents that we did not experience with Michael. We had been home hunting for several weeks before I had heard of Redfin from a friend and thought I would give them a try. We ended up putting an offer in on, and now own the very first house that our Redfin agent Stacy took us to see. We did however tour several more houses with her, and she always worked around our schedules and did everything she could to make things as easy as possible for us. Michael and his staff treated my husband and I with the utmost respect and patience. They guided us through the entire process and provided us with such personal service from our first phone call, right through the closing on our new home, and even called afterward to make sure everything was well with us. Redfin's website is also great and makes the home search process so much easier. It offers an updated and refreshing way to go about your search that the others just can't compete with. I would absolutely recommend Michael Daly and Redfin to everyone I know. They are the best! |

Mike was extremely helpful in helping us find our new home. we found him to be friendly,intelligent, well informed and sensitive to our needs. He focused in on requirments very quickly and did make our search a tedious one. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a home to buy or sell. |
