Patrick exceeded all of our expectations. Patrick was very knowledgeable regarding the market in the Western Suburbs and was able to assist us in first determining a fair price for the property and then negotiating a great price (which took a few weeks of back and forth between the agents I might add). And Patrick never once tried to get us to deviate from our original valuation, even when at times it seemed like the Seller wouldn't come down far enough on price to close the deal. After a while, Patrick took the lack of price movement from the Seller as a personal challenge to convince the Seller's agent that the Seller was being unrealistic. Patrick was in touch with us constantly from begining to end, making sure that there was nothing more he could do to make the transaction go smoothly and even showed up at our closing just in case unintended problems arose (they didn't). We have and will continue to recommend Patrick to our friends, family and to anyone else who will listen. |

We were first-time homebuyers who knew exactly what we were looking for (neighborhood, type of house, schools, price range, etc.). We are both well-educated professionals and did not want to be steered by a realtor into what they wanted to sell us. We had two prior bad experiences with other (non-Redfin) realtors in this regard and then decided to go with Redfin. Patrick Lusk did a wonderful job from the beginning by understanding that we wanted to drive the process. He was attentive, responsive, and gave us helpful tips along the way. Last, but not least, he did an excellent job on the negotiation process. For example, even though Patrick and my wife and I disagreed on the price the house we eventually bought would sell for, he had no problem submitting the offer and making a case for why we thought the price should be lower to the seller's realtor. In the end, we paid 30k less than Patrick thought the house would sell for. We don't think another realtor would have done such a great job representing our offer. We will highly recommend Patrick's services to others and love the Redfin model.
