Waikapu Gardens, located between Waikapu Stream and the West Maui Mountains, is a residential and rural Waikapu neighborhood with low-slung homes and wide mountain views. The neighborhood reads as quiet streets and small yards framed by palms and open sky. Character concentrates around the Waikapu Store area along Honoapiʻilani Highway, where local plates, morning coffee, and quick errands set the daily rhythm. Waikapu Store and the nearby Waikapu Community Center act as familiar gathering points for food, events, and recreation. The setting stays grounded in Central Maui’s agricultural edges, with breezes and cloud shadows moving across the ridgeline. Architecture leans practical and island-casual, with carports, lanais, and gardens that track the seasons.
