Today Redfin announced the expansion of its home-buying and selling service to California’s Inland Empire, the fifth market expansion announcement we’ve made this year. We’re so enamored with this new relationship that just like other Southern California power combos like KimyeBrangelina and the on-again off-again Selieber, we’ve got our own combined nickname. Ladies and gentlemen, we present the RedfInland Empire!

A dream-team of local Redfin agents can now serve homebuyers and sellers in the greater Murrieta/Temecula area including Lake ElsinoreCanyon LakeMurrietaWinchester, and Temecula. In the greater Corona/Chino Hills area, Redfin now serves ChinoChino HillsDiamond BarNorcoEastvale and Corona.

Funny thing is, the RedfInland Empire already feels like home, since searchable properties on our website and mobile tools have been available to consumers there since 2007. Not to mention, Southern California is one of Redfin’s most successful regions company-wide.

More good news is that the Inland Empire’s local housing market recovery is finally in full swing, with home prices in this area up 23 percent in April from last year. The area was especially hard hit with the burst of the real estate bubble, and is just now catching up with gains in the greater Los Angeles market that started last year.

Paul-ReidFor an opportunity this fabulous, you need a great manager. So we’re proud to announce that the RedfInland Empire is in the highly capable hands of Norco native and seasoned Redfin agent, Paul Reid. Over the last two years, Paul has been based in Orange County, and helped more than 50 Redfin homebuyers and sellers have the best possible home-buying and selling experience possible. If the name sounds familiar, it’s probably because Paul has become recognized as an expert on the local and national real estate markets, frequently quoted in the L.A. TimesWall Street Journal, and Fox Business, to name a few.

In his new role as Redfin’s Market Manager for the Inland Empire, Paul leads a team of superstars, aka Redfin agents, who are paid a salary and bonuses based on customer satisfaction ratings. The addition of Redfin agents also means that Inland Empire consumers now have access to a new array of Redfin’s home-buying tools including Offer Insights, details from Redfin agents about what it takes to win a bidding war in a given neighborhood, Mobile Tour Scheduling, a tool on Redfin’s iOS app that allows homebuyers to use their smartphones to request in-person home tours with a Redfin agent, and Deal Room, which helps clients and their agents coordinate the tasks necessary to complete home purchase transactions. Home-sellers can now access Redfin’s Listing Dashboard, where they can track online and in-person traffic to their listing and compare it with nearby similar homes for sale.

Here at Redfin, an expansion is always cause for celebration, and we’re hosting two local welcome events! The first is on Wednesday, June 12 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Europa Village, a Temecula vineyard and the second will be in Corona on Thursday, June 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at King’s Fish House. Hope to see you there!
