With the 88th Academy Awards just around the corner, Redfin decided to take a look at the homes owned by Jennifer Lawrence and Cate Blanchett, both nominated for Actress in a Leading Role. It turns out that we think both homes are a WIN, but which abode do YOU think is most award-worthy?
Jennifer Lawrence- Joy

Jennifer Lawrence already has one Oscar under her belt but will 2016 bring her a second? Either way, her 5,500-square-foot home certainly has room for one more of those trophies. The 25-year-old actress splashed out $8.225 million for a home in Beverly Hills back in 2014. The home comes with quite the history; it once belonged to Jessica Simpson and, before that, Ellen DeGeneres.
The five-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom estate was renovated with interior designs by Rachel Ashwell of Shabby Chic Couture. The walled and gated home sits on 0.31 acres of densely landscaped grounds, offering plenty of privacy. Amenities include a commercial-style gourmet kitchen, home gym and office. The master suite has a sitting area with doors that open to a large deck with view of the property. Outside, there’s a swimming pool surrounded by a stone courtyard that leads to a koi pond.
It’s quite an upgrade from the condo in Santa Monica that her parents purchased in 2006, which Lawrence was previously living in since she was 15 years old!
Cate Blanchett- Carol

Cate Blanchett is no stranger to the Academy Awards; the 46-year-old actress already has two Oscars and has been nominated seven times.
It has already been a busy year for the Australian actress as she recently relocated from Australia to England with her husband, actor Andrew Upton. According to the Sunday Times, the couple traded in their Sydney home for this historic English Manor in East Essex for $6 million earlier this year.
The classic estate has gorgeous hardwood floors, enormous windows overlooking the property, a beautiful kitchen with a huge center kitchen island and flawless marble bathrooms with enviable His & Hers sinks.
Blanchett reportedly sold her home back in Australia for about $20 million last year.
