March is a time of great excitement. Brackets are busted, dreams shattered! One busy weekend segues into another, with only the best surviving. And yet, the question remains: Which NCAA coach has the fairest house of them all?
On the basketball arena, Shaka Smart’s Longhorns lost on a last-second half-court heave in the first round. (Truly, the video is worth a watch.)
So what was Shaka to do? If you look at his home, he certainly had a nice set of loveseats to pout on; maybe a soak in the tub, or a swim in the pool?
No! Shaka’s chin was up: his Austin estate was vying for best NCAA coach’s house in the nation, going against the likes of Cal’s Cuonzo Martin, Villanova’s Jay Wright and Miami’s Jim Larrañaga.
The winner: the Shaka Smart house, the #2 seed out of Austin! Not only is his house beautiful, but, according to Redfin Estimate, it was also a good investment: it’s currently valued at $2.635M.
That’s good form, coach. Real good form!
