Great news! Azure Northwest Homes was named Local Builder of the Year at the eighth-annual New Home Council 2016 Tribute Awards held at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue on Nov. 3. Azure NW received top honors over other great builders who made the list of finalists: Village Life and BDR Homes. Azure NW was also a top 10 builder for new home closings in the first quarter of 2016*, and was a finalist for three other awards from the New Home Council.
“Azure Northwest Homes takes pride in being a local builder, and winning this distinguished award is a reflection of our commitment to building homes that embrace the outdoor-oriented lifestyle of the Puget Sound community,” said Isaac Stocks, principal at Azure NW. “When Tom Young and I first started doing this, our vision was to create homes with data-driven insights and our understanding of the unique needs of the local consumer in mind. We’re thrilled to receive this award, and excited about the future.”
Azure NW is a Seattle-based land development and homebuilding company founded in 2014 by Isaac Stocks and Tom Young. Specializing in single family homes in established suburban Seattle-area markets including Bonney Lake, Gig Harbor, Kent, Sammamish and Kirkland, Azure NW has delivered $23 million of real estate in two years.
Azure NW homes are proudly represented by Redfin Builder Services, a sales and marketing team that harnesses the power of Redfin.com to help homebuilders and residential real estate developers connect with active homebuyers. Redfin Builder Services’ Ryan Olson, the lead community sales manager for Azure NW, was also a finalist for Salesperson of the Year at the Tribute awards.
“Redfin Builder Services has been a great partner for us, because they share our view of data-driven insights leading to homes being built with the customer’s needs in mind, and their website and custom marketing give us the power of a national builder,” said Tom Young, principal at Azure NW. “Through surveys and focus groups, we found that customers most sought after amenities include outdoor living space, natural light and quality finishes, and we build our homes to accommodate those needs. As a result, the buyers have been flooding to our projects.”
In its debut in 2015, Azure NW had one of the strongest launches ever at Tehaleh, with 18 homes sold in its first five months. Originally envisioned to be built on spec, the Azure homes have largely sold presale, with a waiting list for upcoming home releases.
