Look for accessories that add luxury for less.

Wicker baskets are a great way of adding affordable storage to a space and never go out of style. You can also try incorporating cushions and throws into your home décor. Try choosing cushions and throws with a classic faux fur or chevron pattern; these tend to be budget-friendly but look luxe. – Dot and Blush

Shop smarter; there are great home décor finds at your local hardware store, Walmart, and even the Dollar Store.

It might take some imagination to bring it to life in your home, but there are amazing pieces that don’t have to break the bank. Luxury décor does not have to cost an arm and a leg – by shopping at stores with low prices, you can create a beautifully curated home, all while working on a budget. – Nest with the Nelsons

When styling a room on a budget, one easy way to instantly infuse the feeling of luxury is to over-deliver on texture.

Think pillows and throw blankets in high-quality fabrics like soft wool, faux fur, velvet, and sturdy leather. A stoneware or cement vase with some natural dried pampas grass is a great touch too. The key is to keep your colors neutral and express a design style through texture. Another way to make your room look more expensive is to hang three panels of drapes on a window instead of two. Try setting one panel in the middle of the window, and the other two on either side, while hanging the rod as close to the ceiling as you can. This illusion of grandeur creates an instant “wow” factor in any room. – RoomCrush

Make sure to prioritize scale.

A larger, more affordable rug will make a space look more expensive than a pricey rug that’s too small. The same idea goes for window treatments – hanging curtains from floor-to-ceiling will make the window appear larger than it would if you hang them just above the trim. – House of Rad

Having a well-decorated or luxurious home does not equal having a big budget.

Learning some interior design “tricks of the trade” is all you need to design a beautiful space in your home. You can make your home feel more luxurious by upgrading your bathroom and/or kitchen hardware and fixtures, utilizing neutral paint colors which will make your rooms look bigger, and creating vignettes for that final touch of elegance. – Bella Home Interiors

A great way to make your home look like a million bucks on a budget is to upgrade items on clearance that don’t necessarily match your home décor.

If you find a piece of art that you love but doesn’t match your home’s color scheme, remove it from the frame and use acrylic paint in your home décor colors to paint over the parts that don’t match the space. You can also do this with tabletop décor; just spray paint it in a solid color that matches your home. – Life as a LEO Wife

Every room needs a rug to put all the furniture together.

For example, you have a living room with a beautiful sofa and armchairs, a table, floor lamps, but even on the most beautiful floor, these items look lonely. Adding a rug will make the furniture look more cohesive, and it will tie the whole room together. – Kononenko Industrial Design

If you’re looking to get a more luxe look for your bath or kitchen, without having an extravagant budget, start with updating your hardware.

The only thing you need to make your home beautiful and embellished in a budget-friendly way is to be creative.

You can renovate your living area wall by hanging up photos to create a family gallery. This will become a breathtaking wall of memories. Also, decorating with classy items is trendy again. Old paintings, antique vases, and handmade rugs are exceptionally versatile ideas for upgrading your home décor. Just remember -be artistic, be crafty, be natural, and be you. – Jaageer

Create stencil art like a pro

Stenciling takes practice, but there are some simple, basic principles you can follow to become a pro of this painting technique. Start by dipping the roller only partially into the paint tray letting the paint cover less than half of the roller. Then roll it on the ramp of the tray to evenly distribute the paint on the roller cover. The only mistake you can make when stenciling is to use too much paint so try using an old newspaper or Kraft paper to remove excess and even the paint on the roller. Cover the stencil with the first thin layer of paint – this thin layer is very important to achieve the ideal outline. The first coat may be semi-transparent, just as it should be. After a few minutes when the first coat is almost dry, apply a second thin coat. Two thin coats of paint will leave a beautiful, even finish. – StenCilit
