It has been a rough month for many tried-and-true One Direction fans; the news of Zayn Malik’s departure from the English pop group left many devastated, even heartbroken! But, there’s some good news for those One Directioners: Fans now have the chance to own a little piece of history of their favorite boy band, if they can afford it.
The popular group rented this interesting property for a week back in 2013 while they were on tour in Los Angeles. It may look like the bow of a ship, but that won’t stop you from wanting to buy this home if you’re a loyal One Direction fan. But the architectural wonder costs a bit more than your average concert souvenir: It is listed for $7.199 million.
The contemporary mansion-boat sits on the infamous Mulholland Drive in Bel Air, offering unobstructed views of the entire city. The home has five bedrooms, just enough for each member of the band at the time; of course that was before Zayn decided to bow out.
The home certainly comes with everything necessary for a band like One Direction to feel comfortable while on tour, including a pool, gym, theater, night club, wine cellar and two spas. Wait, did we say night club? Yes we did! Because, well, why not?
Reports from when the band rented the mansion say the rent on this ship was $27,000 a month then. No big deal.
What do you think of the home? Yacht-tastic or shipwreck? Let us know in the comments below, or shout it out to us on Twitter @Redfin.
