Gallery Wall Giveaway Sweepstakes Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. VALID IN THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA ONLY. ENTRY IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES.

1. BINDING AGREEMENT: In order to enter the Gallery Wall Giveaway (the “Sweepstakes”), you must agree to these Official Rules (the “Rules”). Please read these Rules prior to entry to ensure you understand and agree. You agree that your Entry (as defined below) in the Sweepstakes constitutes agreement to these Rules.
2. ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes, an “Entrant” or “You” must be a legal resident who is twenty-one (21) years of age or older living in one of the 50 United States or District of Columbia. The Sweepstakes is void in Puerto Rico, U.S. territories and possessions, outside of the U.S., and where prohibited by law. Employees and contractors of Redfin and Framebridge, and each of their subsidiaries, affiliates, and respective directors, officers, advertising and promotion agencies, representatives, and agents (“Sweepstakes Entities”), and members of such employees’ and contractors’ immediate families (parents, siblings, children, spouses, and life partners of each, regardless of where they live), and members of their households (whether related or not) are ineligible to participate in the Sweepstakes.
3. SPONSOR: The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Redfin Corporation (“Redfin”) a Delaware corporation with principal place of business at 2025 1st Ave., Suite 500, Seattle, WA 98121, USA (the “Sponsor”). This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
4. START DATE / END DATE: The Sweepstakes begins at 9:00 a.m. PT on May 17, 2016 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on May 26, 2016 (the “Entry Period”).
5. HOW TO ENTER: There are two ways to enter: (a) visit the Redfin Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/redfin), click the Gallery Wall Giveaway tab, register by completing the entry form with your email address, and enter your brief (no more than 500 characters) answer to “Where would you feature a gallery wall in your home?” or (b) on a postcard (no smaller than 3 1/2 x 5 inches and no larger than 4 1/4 x 6 inches), handwrite your complete name, email address, phone number, and brief (no more than 500 characters) answer to “Where would you feature a gallery wall in your home?”, and mail with proper postage to Redfin, Attn: Social Media Manager, 2025 1st Ave, Suite 500, Seattle, WA 98121. All Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on May 26, 2016 to be included in the Sweepstakes. A submission received using either method to enter is deemed an “Entry.” You may only enter the Sweepstakes one (1) time for the duration of the Sweepstakes. Multiple Entries will not be accepted. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of the Sponsor and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, stolen, mutilated, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, postage-due, technically corrupted or garbled entries or mail, which will be disqualified, or for problems of any kind whether mechanical, human or electronic. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Anyone found to use multiple accounts to enter the Sweepstakes will be ineligible.
6. USE OF SWEEPSTAKES INFORMATION: Notwithstanding any contrary provision in Redfin’s privacy policy and in Framebridge’s privacy policy, Entrants grant to each of Redfin and Framebridge, and each of Redfin and Framebridge reserves the right, to use any and all information related to the Sweepstakes, including information provided by Entrants in connection with the Sweepstakes, for marketing purposes, including email marketing, unless prohibited by law. Restrictions, conditions and limitations apply.
7. PRIVACY: You are providing your information to Redfin and Framebridge, Inc. (“Framebridge”) whose principal place of business at 9701 Philadelphia Court, Suite, E, Lanham, MD 20706, and not Facebook. Entrants agree that personal data submitted with an Entry, including name, email address, and phone number may be collected, processed, stored and otherwise used by Redfin, Framebridge, and each of their affiliates for the purposes of conducting and administering the Sweepstakes. By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to the transmission, processing, disclosing and storage of this personal data by Redfin, Framebridge, and each of their affiliates. All personal information that is collected from the Entrant is subject to Redfin’s privacy policy (located at: https://www.redfin.com/blog/about/privacy-policy) and Framebridge’s privacy policy, located at: https://www.framebridge.com/pages/privacy-policy).
8. RANDOM DRAWINGS/ODDS: Potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible Entries received during the Entry Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period. A total of one (1) drawing will be conducted on or around May 30, 2016 at 12:30 pm PT.
9. GRAND PRIZE DESCRIPTION: One (1) winner will receive a $500 Framebridge gift card and a cash award of $500 payable by check. Total retail value of all prizes to be awarded is $1,000. Prizes are non-transferable. No substitutions or cash redemptions. The prize is provided by Redfin and Framebridge.
10. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT: The winner of the Sweepstakes will be notified by email on or about the day of the drawing. If the winner is unreachable after two (2) business days, that winner’s prize is forfeited and an alternative winner will be selected from all remaining eligible Entries. In order to be named a winner, the potential winner may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Prize Acceptance Form/Release of liability and a W-9 Form upon accepting a prize. Non-compliance will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.
11. RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION: By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrant agrees, to the maximum extent permitted by law, to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Redfin, Framebridge, Facebook, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents, at all times from and against any and all liability, claims, demands, injuries, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) resulting from any act, default, or omission of the Entrant and/or a breach of any warranty set forth herein.
12. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: The winner assumes liability for losses or injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Sweepstakes, or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive any prize. If the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned for any reason, Redfin reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes.
13. FORUM AND RECOURSE TO JUDICIAL PROCEDURES: These Rules shall be governed by, subject to, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States of America, excluding all conflict of law rules. If any provision(s) of these Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect. To the extent permitted by law, the rights to litigate, seek injunctive relief or make any other recourse to judicial or any other procedure in case of disputes or claims resulting from or in connection with the Sweepstakes are hereby excluded, and Entrants expressly waive any and all such rights.
14. ARBITRATION: By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree that exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute, claim, or demand related in any way to the Sweepstakes will be decided by binding arbitration. All disputes between you and Redfin arising out of these Rules, shall be submitted for binding arbitration in the Seattle, WA, USA area. The parties agree to share equally in the arbitration costs incurred.
15. GENERAL CONDITIONS: This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Redfin reserves the right at its their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Sweepstakes, or to be acting in violation of these Rules.
16. WINNER’S LIST: You may request the name of the winner after June 3, 2016 by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Redfin, Attn: Social Media Manager, 2025 1st Ave. Suite 500, Seattle, WA 98121. (Residents of Vermont need not supply postage).
