We know who won and what they wore, now you can take a look at where they live! With Sunday night’s Golden Globes behind us, we decided to do some digging to find out where some of the award winners spend their time when they aren’t on the red carpet. Check out the award-worthy homes of these outstanding actors and actresses.
George Clooney – Cecil B. DeMille Award
George Clooney is winning when it comes to most things in life, including his beautiful accomplished wife, Amal Clooney, and his gorgeous secluded English manor. Reports were flying around in October that Mr. and Mrs. Clooney scooped up a 17th century Georgian home, which sits on its own private island in England. The home was said to be listed for $12 million. It was definitely a good year to be Clooney. Congrats to the actor on his wife, home and the award!
Amy Adams – Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Motion Picture
Amy Adams took home the prize for “Big Eyes,” a movie about an artist whose work was fraudulently claimed to be done by her husband. The Golden Globe winner resides in a midcentury modern abode in Beverly Hills, which would be the perfect place to hang an art collection. She picked up the home back in 2010 for $3.165 million. The four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom house sits on a quiet street among a few other homes, including one that belongs to Queen Latifah!
J. K. Simmons – Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture
J.K. Simmons took home the award for “Whiplash,” and his beautiful home would certainly turn some heads. The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home is conveniently located in Studio City and comes with a gorgeous kitchen and entertaining area, which he’ll need after his big win. While the Golden Globe win has put the actor on the media map this week, he is best known for his role in the NBC series “Law & Order.” You might also recognize him from the 2007 movie “Juno.”
Matt Bomer – Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Miniseries, or Motion Picture
Matt Bomer took home the Golden Globe for the movie “The Normal Heart.” The 37-year-old actor scooped up this six-bedroom home in Los Angeles back in 2011 for $3.125 million. Bomer is married to husband Simon Halls, and the couple has three children together. If you don’t recognize Bomer for his award-winning role for “The Normal Heart,” you might recognize him for his role on the USA Network series “White Collar.”
Kevin Spacey – Best Actor in a Drama TV Series
Kevin Spacey took home the award for the show “House of Cards,” and in real life he’s been trading houses like trading cards. The actor formerly resided in New York City but has recently traded in his New York digs for a place across the pond in London. Several reports say the star lives in an apartment not too far from the Old Vic, a famed theater established in the early 1800s.
