Just a week before the release of his Navy SEAL action flick “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi”, actor John Krasinski has listed his one-time bachelor pad in the Hollywood Hills for an even $8 million. Krasinski first bought the home back in 2009 for $1.85 million before his marriage to English actress Emily Blunt.
The 4,800 square-foot, multi-level home is located on Marmont Ave., so-named for its proximity to the famed hotel and celebrity hotspot, the Chateau Marmont. It boasts expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the shimmering L.A. skyline and has a rooftop deck perched among the trees of the Hollywood Hills, making it the perfect place to relax after a long day at the office.
“Mr. Krasinski truly had perfect timing with this investment,” said Redfin real estate agent Alec Traub. “The median sale price in L.A. has increased 40 percent since he purchased the home near the bottom of the market in 2009. The home has been beautifully remodeled and there is just no beating the location if you’re looking for that rare combination of privacy and convenience.”
