Kanye West Drops Price of Bachelor Pad – Again!

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Kanye West Home Kanye West’s modern mansion overlooking the Sunset Strip popped back on the market again, this time at a lower price: $2.95 million. Kanye first listed it on February 28, 2013, for $3.3 million, and then dropped the price a few months later to $3.15 million. It was delisted – briefly – on Sept. 16.

The three bedroom, 3.5 bath home is located in the Hollywood Hills, blocks away from where “The Hillswas filmed. It has a modern architectural style and has been crafted with quality fixtures and finishes, including French Walnut hardwood floors and Minotti chandeliers. The MLS listing only shows two photos, but Kanye briefly listed his home in March 2010 and made many more photos available then; you can check those out on Curbed.com. One feature stands out in particular; the aquarium in the shower! Kanye purchased the home in 2003 for $1.75 million, so if he gets his asking price, he stands to make more than a million on the sale.

Kanye is probably anxious to sell now that he and Kim Kardashian have purchased their new mansion in Bel Air. The couple has been extensively remodeling the place ever since they bought it in January for $9 million. The Tuscan-style home has five bedrooms, seven baths, and spans more than 8,600 square feet. It is located in a 24-hour guarded and gated community, offering privacy for couple and their new baby, North West.

Kim already offloaded her bachelorette pad in February. It sold for $3.6 million, which is more than what Kanye is asking for his place. Kim purchased the estate in March 2010 for $3.4 million.

What do you think of Kanye’s modern mansion, compared to the new one he bought with Kim?
