Melania vs. Michelle: Their Speeches Look Alike, but What About Their Homes?

Melania Trump could call many places home considering that she is married to a real estate mogul, but her main residence is the NYC penthouse at Trump Tower. The not-so-humble abode has three levels with stunning views of Central Park. The opulent crib also has 24-carat gold and diamond accents with tons of marble and hand-painted ceiling murals. The luxurious home is said to be valued at $100 million.

Michelle Obama’s home is technically still the White House, but news quickly spread back in May that the Obama family will be relocating to Washington, D.C.’s Kalorama neighborhood this January. According to the National Journal, the family has opted to rent a 6,000-square-foot historic home, which was bought for about $5.3 million back in 2014. There is no word on what their monthly rent will look like. The castle-esque exterior is different from what the Obamas are used to at the White House, but there’s an even greater contrast compared to the NYC Trump penthouse.
