Over the weekend, legendary Hollywood Starlet Zsa Zsa Gabor passed away. The famous actress was 99 years old. The starlet was known for her style, her philanthropy and her husbands. But, one thing the icon was less known for was her lavish taste in homes. From Zsa Zsa Gabor’s extravagant $13 million L.A. mansion, to her once-owned Palm Springs mid-century modern retreat, here’s a look at the many places the famous actress called home.
Zsa Zsa Gabor’s $13 million L.A. property looks like something right out of the movies; that’s because it is. You might recognize the extravagant abode from “Argo” and “Behind the Candelabra.” The luxe house also has a rich Hollywood history. Elvis Presley once called the mansion home and the house was designed by Howard Hughes.
The Redfin estimate values the property at $13,184,483. The last time the it was on the market was back in 2013. The house is over 8,878 square feet and features six bedrooms, five bathrooms and stunning views of downtown L.A. The most distinguished feature is the roof, with its green tint and curvature; it gives the property a little something special.
Zsa Zsa once called this Palm Springs pad home. The mid-century modern property is certainly different from her glam L.A. home. The stylish hideaway hit the market on December 8 for $969,000. It is 1,784 square feet and comes with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. This house is the perfect escape; surrounded by the natural beauty of the desert and tucked away from the public eye, it’s ideal for a quick weekend getaway.
