REDFIN BUYING, SELLING OR JUST DREAMING IN 2015 TWITTER TALK SWEEPSTAKES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. VALID IN THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA ONLY. ENTRY IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES.

1. BINDING AGREEMENT: In order to enter the Redfin Buying, Selling or Just Dreaming in 2015 Twitter Talk Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”), you must agree to the Official Rules (the “Rules”). Please read these Rules prior to entry to ensure you understand and agree. You agree that your Entry in the Sweepstakes constitutes agreement to these Rules.

2. ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes, an “Entrant” or “You” must be a legal resident who is twenty-one (21) years of age or older living in one of the 50 United States or District of Columbia.  The Sweepstakes is void in Puerto Rico, U.S. territories and possessions, outside of the U.S., and where prohibited by law.  Employees and contractors of Redfin, their subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, advertising and promotion agencies, representatives, and agents (“Sweepstakes Entities”), and members of the Sweepstakes Entities’ immediate families (parents, siblings, children, spouses, and life partners of each, regardless of where they live) and members of the households (whether related or not) of the Sweepstakes Entities are ineligible to participate in this Sweepstakes.

3. SPONSOR: The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Redfin Corporation (“Redfin” or “Sponsor”) a Delaware corporation with principal place of business at 2025 1st Ave. Suite 500, Seattle, WA 98121, USA.

4. START DATE / END DATE: The Sweepstakes begins at 9:00 am PT on February 3, 2015 and ends at 10:00 am PT on February 3, 2015.

5. HOW TO ENTER:  During the Redfin Twitter Talk (the “Talk”) beginning at 9:00 am PT on February 3, 2015, each person who participates in the Talk utilizing #RedfinTalk will be entered into four random drawings.  Each individual participation by an Entrant, even if by the same Entrant, will be considered an “Entry.”  While an Entrant can have multiple Entries, each Entrant will only be eligible to win one of the random drawings.  On February 3, 2015, there will be three (3) drawings for prizes between 9:00 am PT and 10 am PT. Entries must be received between 9:00 am PT and 10 am PT and prior to the specific drawing to be included. Sponsor will not verify receipt of Entries for Entrants. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected Entries or any technical issues of the Entries.

6. PRIVACY: Entrants agree that personal data submitted with an Entry, including name, email address, and phone number may be collected, processed, stored and otherwise used by Sponsor and its affiliates for the purposes of conducting and administering the Sweepstakes. By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to the transmission, processing, disclosing and storage of this personal data by Sponsor and its affiliates.  All personal information that is collected from the Entrant is subject to Redfin’s Privacy Policy, located at: https://www.redfin.com/about/privacy-policy.

7. RANDOM DRAWINGS/ODDS:  Potential winners will be selected in random drawings from all eligible Entries received at the time of each drawing.  Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received at the time of each drawing.  A total of three (3) drawings will be conducted on February 3, 2015 between 9:00 am PT and 10 am PT.  One (1) potential winner will be selected during each drawing for a total of three (3) winners.  Except as provided in paragraph 5 of these Rules, entries that are not selected will be eligible for subsequent drawings for the duration of the Sweepstakes.

8. GRAND PRIZE DESCRIPTION: Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) electronic $50.00 Amazon gift card with an individual retail value of $50.00.  Total retail value of all prizes to be awarded is $150.00. Prizes are non-transferable.  No substitutions or cash redemptions.  The prizes are provided by Redfin.

9. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT: The winners of the Sweepstakes will be announced at the time of each drawing via the Twitter handle @MamaDweeb. The winners will be notified on Twitter on or about the time for each drawing. If the winner is unreachable after one (1) day, that winner’s prize is forfeited and no alternative winner will be selected. In order to be named a winner, potential winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Prize Acceptance Form/ Release of liability upon accepting a prize. Noncompliance will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.

10. RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION: By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrant agrees, to the maximum extent permitted by law, to release, indemnify, defend and hold harmless Sponsor, Sponsor’s respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents, at all times from and against any and all liability, claims, demands, injuries, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys fees) resulting from any act, default or omission of the Entrant and/or a breach of any warranty set forth herein.

11. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: The winner assumes liability for losses or injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Sweepstakes, or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive any prize. If the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.

12. FORUM AND RECOURSE TO JUDICIAL PROCEDURES: These Rules shall be governed by, subject to, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States of America, excluding all conflict of law rules. If any provision(s) of these Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect. To the extent permitted by law, the rights to litigate, seek injunctive relief or make any other recourse to judicial or any other procedure in case of disputes or claims resulting from or in connection with this Sweepstakes are hereby excluded, and Entrants expressly waive any and all such rights.

13. ARBITRATION: By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree that exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute, claim, or demand related in any way to the Sweepstakes will be decided by binding arbitration. All disputes between you and Redfin arising out of these Rules, shall be submitted for binding arbitration in the Seattle, WA, USA area. The parties agree to share equally in the arbitration costs incurred.

14. GENERAL CONDITIONS: This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Redfin reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; or to be acting in violation of these Rules.

15. WINNERS’ LIST: You may request the name of the winners after February 4, 2015 by sending a self addressed stamped envelope to: Redfin, Attn: Social Media Manager, 2025 1st Ave. Suite 500, Seattle, WA 98121. (Residents of Vermont need not supply postage).
