Success comes naturally to Senior Dallas Agent Adrienne Kieschnick. She’s been named a Top Real Estate Agent for the last two years in Dallas’s very own “D Magazine” and a top agent at her previous brokerage. Having only been at Redfin a year and a half, she has brought her hard work and dedication to her clients and team. We talked with Adrienne about her transition from a traditional real estate brokerage to Redfin.
How did you first hear about Redfin?
I started at a traditional real estate brokerage six years ago and I became very successful. I was averaging 25 home sales a year, which in the Dallas market is fantastic. But, I started to feel like I was limited in my growth potential and we weren’t focusing enough on the customer. I started telling my friends about my concerns with traditional real estate, and I had a friend tell me about Redfin.I started doing my research, liked what I saw and applied.
What sold you on Redfin?
It was my interview actually. I interviewed with Jason Aleem (the District Manager for the Midwest Region) and I came in with a ton of questions. I wanted to make sure that I was going to be successful.
I remember my interviewers laughing at me at one point in my interview. I was telling them that the reason I got into real estate was to help people. I wanted to give customers great service and help them find a home along the way.
At one point Jason smiled at me and said “that’s exactly what we do at Redfin. We are here to help the customer.”
From there I was sold. The website, the strong demand for excellent customer service and the growth just really excited me. After that, I was like how quickly can I start?
Was it difficult to transition from a traditional brokerage?
It wasn’t difficult at all. At Redfin, I can do twice the volume that I was doing at a traditional brokerage. I have a fantastic team supporting me, which is how I can do more volume. It’s wonderful having support agents, a transaction coordinator and tour coordinators.
What’s a typical day for you as a Redfin Real Estate agent?
A lot of my day is spent sending out emails, following up with clients and working on any contracts I’m in the middle of. I also get ready for a tour if I have one scheduled that day and go to inspections and other tours if I have time in my schedule.
I also do proactive follow ups and I try to send my clients homes on redfin.com.
Do you have a favorite part of Redfin?
My whole team is heaven! I love the people I work with! It’s the coolest things ever to have an associate agent. They will say how awesome I am to a client, before I even meet the client.
And I can trust the associate agents to give great customer service. I wouldn’t be able to sell 50 homes a year without my team.
I also love seeing our customers use Redfin technology. When I’m out with clients and I see them pull up the app, I think, “that’s my company.”
Do you have a favorite Redfin memory?
I remember sitting in the audience at Redferno, our annual company meeting, and listening to one of the speakers. They were talking about where we’ve come from and where we’re going and how we’re going to disrupt the real estate industry. I had tears in my eyes. I was like wow, I am a part of something big.
