Worth Every Penny Sweepstakes Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. VALID IN THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA ONLY. ENTRY IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES.

1. BINDING AGREEMENT: In order to enter the Worth Every Penny Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”), you must agree to these Official Rules (the “Rules”). Please read these Rules prior to entry to ensure you understand and agree. You agree that your Entry (as defined below) in the Sweepstakes constitutes agreement to these Rules.

2. ELIGIBILITY:  To be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes, an “Entrant” or “You” must be a legal resident who is twenty-one (21) years of age or older living in one of the 50 United States or District of Columbia. The Sweepstakes is void in Puerto Rico, U.S. territories and possessions, outside of the U.S., and where prohibited by law. Employees and contractors of Redfin, Trupanion and Rover, it’s subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, advertising and promotion agencies, representatives, and agents (“Sweepstakes Entities”), and members of the Sweepstakes Entities’ immediate families (parents, siblings, children, spouses, and life partners of each, regardless of where they live), and members of the households (whether related or not) of the Sweepstakes Entities are ineligible to participate in the Sweepstakes.

3. SPONSOR:  The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Redfin Corporation (“Redfin”) a Delaware corporation with principal place of business at 2025 1st Ave. Suite 500, Seattle, WA 98121, USA, Trupanion Managers USA, Inc. (“Trupanion”) with a principal place of business at 907 NW Ballard Way, Seattle, WA 98107 and A Place for Rover, Inc. (“Rover”) with a principal place of business at 2101 4th Ave., Suite 400, Seattle, WA 98121 (collectively “Sponsors”).This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.

4. START DATE / END DATE: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. PT on May 13, 2015 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on May 27, 2015 (the “Entry Period”).

5. HOW TO ENTER: There are ten (10) ways to enter: (a) Visit the Redfin Facebook page(https://www.facebook.com/redfin) and post a picture of your dog with the hashtag #wortheverypenny; (b) Visit the Trupanion Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/petinsurance) and post a picture of your dog with the hashtag #wortheverypenny; (c) Visit the Rover Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/RoverDotCom) and post a picture of your dog with the hashtag #wortheverypenny; (d) Tweet at @Redfin with a picture of your dog and include the hashtag #wortheverypenny; (e) Tweet at @Trupanion with a picture of your dog and include the hashtag #wortheverypenny; (f) Tweet at @RoverDotCom with a picture of your dog and include the hashtag #wortheverypenny; (g) Follow Redfin on Instagram at http://www.instagram.com/redfinrealestate and share a photo of your dog and include the hashtag #wortheverypenny; (h) Follow Trupanion on Instagram at https://instagram.com/trupanion/ and share a photo of your dog and include the hashtag #wortheverypenny; (i) Follow Rover on Instagram at https://instagram.com/roverdotcom/ and share a photo of your dog and include the hashtag #wortheverypenny; (j) On a postcard (no smaller than 3 ½ x 5 inches and no larger than 4 ¼ x 6 inches), handwrite your complete name, email address and phone number, and a brief (no more than 500 characters) reason why your pet is worth every penny, and mail with proper postage to Redfin, Attn: Social Media Manager, 2025 1st Ave. Suite 500, Seattle, WA 98121 (“Postcard Entry”). All Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on May 27, 2015 to be included in the drawing. A submission received using any of the methods to enter is deemed an “Entry.” You may enter the Sweepstakes up to ten (10) times for the duration of the Sweepstakes once per entry method (a-j). All entries become the sole and exclusive property of the Sponsors and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, illegible, stolen, mutilated, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, postage-due, technically corrupted or garbled entries or mail, which will be disqualified, or for problems of any kind whether mechanical, human or electronic. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsors. Anyone found to use multiple accounts to enter the Sweepstakes will be ineligible.

6. PHOTO REQUIREMENTS: The photograph must be a single work of original material taken by the Entrant or the Entrant must be the owner of all rights associated with the photograph. By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrant represents, acknowledges, and warrants that the submitted photograph is an original work created solely by the Entrant or that the Entrant is the owner of all rights associated with the photograph, that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy / publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the photograph.The photograph must not, in the sole discretion of the Sponsors, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.

7. USE OF SWEEPSTAKES INFORMATION:  Notwithstanding any contrary provision in any of Redfin’s privacy policy, Entrants grant to Redfin, and Redfin reserves the right, to use any and all information related to the Sweepstakes, including information provided by Entrants in connection with the Sweepstakes, for marketing purposes, including email marketing, unless prohibited by law. Restrictions, conditions and limitations apply.

8. PRIVACY: You are providing your information to Redfin, Trupanion and Rover not Facebook , Twitter or Instagram. Entrants agree that personal data submitted with an Entry, including name, email address, and phone number may be collected, processed, stored and otherwise used by Sponsors and its affiliates for the purposes of conducting and administering the Sweepstakes. By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to the transmission, processing, disclosing and storage of this personal data by Redfin, Trupanion and Rover and its affiliates.  All personal information that is collected from the Entrant is subject to Redfin, Trupanion and Rover’s Privacy Policy, located at: Redfin: https://www.redfin.com/blog/about/privacy-policy; Trupanion: http://trupanion.com/about/privacy-policy; Rover:https://www.rover.com/privacy/

9. RANDOM DRAWINGS/ODDS: Potential winners will be selected in random drawing from all eligible Entries received at the time of each drawing. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received at the time of each drawing. A total of one (1) drawing will be conducted on May 29, 2015 at 12:30 pm PT.

10. GRAND PRIZE DESCRIPTION: One One (1) winner will receive a cash award of $1,000 payable by check, a $100 gift card for Rover services, and a care package from Trupanion and Rover. Total retail value of all prizes to be awarded is $1,400. Prizes are non-transferable. No substitutions or cash redemptions. The prizes are provided by Redfin, Trupanion and Rover.

11. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT: The winners of the Sweepstakes will be announced on the Redfin Twitter page (https://www.twitter.com/redfin) on or before June 1, 2015. The winners will be notified on Twitter and/or Facebook and/or Instagram on or about the day of the drawing. If a winner is unreachable after two (2) business days, that winner’s prize is forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible Entries. In order to be named a winner, the potential winner may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Prize Acceptance Form/Release of liability and a W-9 Form upon accepting a prize. Non-compliance will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.

12. RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION: By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrant agrees, to the maximum extent permitted by law, to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sponsors, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents, at all times from and against any and all liability, claims, demands, injuries, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) resulting from any act, default, or omission of the Entrant and/or a breach of any warranty set forth herein.

13. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: The winners assume liability for losses or injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Sweepstakes, or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive any prize. If the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned for any reason, Sponsors reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes.

14. FORUM AND RECOURSE TO JUDICIAL PROCEDURES: These Rules shall be governed by, subject to, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States of America, excluding all conflict of law rules. If any provision(s) of these Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect. To the extent permitted by law, the rights to litigate, seek injunctive relief or make any other recourse to judicial or any other procedure in case of disputes or claims resulting from or in connection with the Sweepstakes are hereby excluded, and Entrants expressly waive any and all such rights.

15. ARBITRATION: By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree that exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute, claim, or demand related in any way to the Sweepstakes will be decided by binding arbitration. All disputes between you and Redfin arising out of these Rules, shall be submitted for binding arbitration in the Seattle, WA, USA area. The parties agree to share equally in the arbitration costs incurred.

16. GENERAL CONDITIONS: This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Sponsors reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; or to be acting in violation of these Rules.

17. WINNER’S LIST: You may request the name of the winner after June 3, 2015 by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Redfin, Attn: Social Media Manager, 2025 1st Ave. Suite 500, Seattle, WA 98121. (Residents of Vermont need not supply postage).
