It was followed by two Los Angeles estates, each fetching $110 million. Every home on this year\u2019s top 10 list sold for over $60 million, with Florida and California dominating the list.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Sunshine State and the Golden State have long been among the world\u2019s top ultra-luxury hotspots. Florida, in particular, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/where-the-wealthy-are-moving-in-florida-miami-palm-beach-2021-10\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rose to prominence<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in 2025: Fisher Island became the most expensive ZIP Code in the country before Newport Coast, CA reclaimed the title to close out the year. Typical homes in both markets sell for over $11 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Overall, Los Angeles and coastal Florida accounted for eight of the ten most expensive sales in 2025.
