Since most modern partition actions involve properties like homes that are not able to be physically split between co-owners, a partition by sale is used most often.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cOnce the property is sold, the proceeds are divided equitably among co-owners based on their percentage of ownership,\u201d Elijah adds.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span
