Introducing RAD: Redfin Agent Development Program
\n<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"RAD<\/a>When I was a child, I answered this question with \u201cI want to compose musical scores for Disney animated movies.\u201d (Yes, really.) Today, I answer it a little differently: I want to be awesome.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more awesome than being awesome? Being RAD!<\/p>\n

RAD is the Redfin Agent Development program. It\u2019s a paid, 18-month apprenticeship that combines classroom learning, on-the-job training and one-on-one mentoring to help teach participants real estate the Redfin way.<\/p>\n

The RAD program immerses participants in our technology-powered, customer-first philosophy. The comprehensive training and development program begins with earning a real estate license and then progresses as participants learn how to help Redfin clients buy and sell homes. RAD agents work closely with their mentors and a dedicated team of trainers whose job it is to develop the next generation of the best, most customer-obsessed and technology-driven real estate agents yet. RAD participants are paid employees of Redfin. Once they start helping clients buy and sell homes, they earn bonuses based on customer satisfaction just like other Redfin agents.<\/p>\n

Redfin is investing in building the next class of Redfin agents as we rapidly expand to new cities and serve a growing number of homebuyers and sellers in our current markets. As the housing market has heated up recently, so has the number of people looking to become real estate agents<\/a>. We\u2019re not looking for people who want to make a quick buck in real estate. We want agents ready to put customers first and build a career with Redfin.<\/p>\n

After successfully launching as a pilot program in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C areas, RAD is expanding to seven more locations: Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle. The next RAD class will start June 2015.<\/p>\n
