You asked, we delivered: On the Redfin iPhone app, you can now draw a line around where you want to search for homes. This means you can narrow down the results to include homes for sale in the exact areas where you want to live, not just in a certain neighborhood or ZIP code.<\/p>\n

Once you\u2019ve drawn a search and set additional filters like price, size and type of home, the Redfin app will keep you updated on what\u2019s going on in that area. You\u2019ll get alerts when homes come on the market, drop in price, sell or are about to sell. These alerts can be critical when competition is fierce, and could help you snag your dream home before someone else does!<\/p>\n

And we expect competition to be fierce this spring; the increase in buyer interest over the past two months has been record-breaking<\/a>! To get one of the Hot Homes<\/a> that we identify on the map – those with a 70 percent chance of having an accepted offer in two weeks or less – you need to be one of the first to tour a home and make an offer.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s where those alerts come in handy! As soon as you see a home come on the market that you like, you can schedule a tour with a Redfin agent directly in the app with just a couple of clicks. Redfin agents work in teams, which means we can usually find someone who is available to show you a home during a time that works best for you, whether that\u2019s 7 p.m. on Tuesday or 10 a.m. on Saturday.<\/p>\n
