Now in its fifth year, the Executive Excellence Awards program recognizes executives who best demonstrate the ability to inspire, lead and serve as role models for other business leaders.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"media-56434\" class=\"align-none\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.redfin.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC07689-edit-scaled-1.jpg\" alt=\"DSC07689 edit\" width=\"701\" height=\"467\" \/><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When accepting the award, Kelman credited the hard work of Redfin\u2019s employees. &#8220;The partnership between agents and engineers, between all the people at the company, in this mission to do something that we all really believe in, is why I am still here; it is why we will be here five years from now, and 10 years from now; it is why I am so proud to be the CEO of Redfin,\u201d said Kelman.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"media-56435\" class=\"align-none\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.redfin.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC07694-edit.jpg\" alt=\"DSC07694 edit\" width=\"701\" height=\"467\" \/><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The February issue of Seattle Business magazine features an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seattlebusinessmag.com\/2017-executive-excellence-awards-glenn-kelman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">interview with Glenn<\/a>, and highlights the company\u2019s unique business model, which helped it survive the market crash of 2008.
