Since news broke over the past weekend, Redfin agents in both regions are reporting a noticeable jump in calls, emails and tour requests from prospective homebuyers interested in homes in these neighborhoods. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Online views of homes currently for sale in Crystal City and Long Island City on Redfin.com have skyrocketed. In the week ending on November 11, views of homes for sale in Long Island City were up 1049\u00a0percent compared to the same period a year ago. Views of listings in Crystal City\u00a0were up\u00a0217 percent year over year.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"media-64304\" class=\"align-none\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"media-64329\" class=\"align-none\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"media-64331\" class=\"align-none\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"media-64334\" class=\"align-none\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.redfin.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/image-2.png\" alt=\"image (2)\" data-portal-copyright=\"\" data-has-syndication-rights=\"\" data-license-id=\"\" data-licensor-name=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Redfin agent Mara Gemond has a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/redfin.com\/VA\/Arlington\/1805-Crystal-Dr-22202\/unit-710S\/home\/11274152\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">two-bedroom condo with views of the Washington Monument and U.S. Capitol listed for sale in Crystal City<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. After being on the market for several weeks with moderate interest, showings have gone through the roof since Monday. \u201cI believe there is a lot of interest from investors who want a property they can rent out to a future Amazon employee, or possibly use for corporate housing.
