Tempe office will support Redfin Mortgage\u2019s West Coast expansion<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

This week Redfin Mortgage opened a new office in Tempe, Arizona to support the rapid growth and geographic expansion of our lending business. Our Tempe office will have mortgage advisors, processors, underwriters and closing specialists working alongside our local agents. The connectivity between our agents and operations has always been a special part of Redfin\u2019s culture and a competitive advantage as we bring together technology and service to make the entire home-buying and selling journey fast, easy and intuitive.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While Redfin Mortgage employs local mortgage advisors to serve customers in markets around the country, the Tempe office is the first satellite office for Redfin Mortgage, which is headquartered in Frisco, Texas. Redfin Mortgage is actively hiring in both its Frisco and Tempe offices.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cGiven our strong brokerage presence in Arizona and a deep pool of talent in the mortgage and banking space, Tempe is a natural place for us to grow,\u201d said Jason Bateman, head of Redfin Mortgage. \u201cHaving a location that can serve the Pacific time zone will be valuable as we expand our mortgage offerings to the West Coast in the coming years.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the three years since launching, the Redfin Mortgage team has doubled every year and now serves 15 states and the District of Columbia: Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin. We expect that growth to continue as Redfin Mortgage <\/span>expands to new markets<\/span><\/a>, serves more customers and introduces new technology to streamline <\/span>the process of getting a home loan and closing<\/span><\/a> on a home purchase.<\/span><\/p>\n
