We\u2019re still serving thousands of buyers and sellers each day, but with new rules and new technologies.<\/span><br \/>\n<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>We\u2019ve Spent a Decade Preparing for This Day<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No brokerage has invested more in preparations for virtual open houses, virtual tours, virtual contracts and closings. The coronavirus has just made the future we\u2019ve been preparing for come sooner.<\/span><br \/>\n<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Three-Dimensional Scans on All Homes Listed by Redfin.com<\/b><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our listing customers shouldn\u2019t worry about canceled open houses. Since we publish <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/redfin.com\/blog\/3d-home-walkthrough-redfin\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">interactive, three-dimensional scans of all homes listed by Redfin agents<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, buyers can still explore every nook and cranny of a home for sale without creating a public-health risk. We run a digital-marketing campaign for every listing to bring plenty of folks through your home online.<\/span><br \/>\n<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Video-Chat Tours of Any Listing, Including Homes Listed by Other Brokerages<\/b><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Homes listed by other brokerages can be toured in person or virtually, via a video chat. On a video-chat tour, a Redfin agent broadcasts what we see on a walkthrough of the home, responding to your requests to pan left or zoom in. Schedule the tour as before, but follow the online prompts to ask for a video-chat tour.<\/span><br \/>\n<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Precautions for In-Person Tours<\/b><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019re still also hosting in-person tours of listings, but with precautions to protect your health:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Virtual tours for anyone with a sniffle<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: no one should tour with cold or flu symptoms. If you\u2019re sick or might be sick, just ask for a video-chat tour.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>A healthy agent<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: because our agents work in teams, if one agent has a cough, we\u2019ll find another to host the showing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Avoiding close contact<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Redfin agents won\u2019t ask customers to shake hands, staying six feet away from you throughout the tour.
