It\u2019s integrated with Redfin\u2019s support team, so you can be quickly connected to a licensed real estate agent if your question goes beyond the details of a listing, such as how to make an offer or to get an agent\u2019s opinion on the market value of a home.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 1080px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-77898-1\" width=\"1080\" height=\"1080\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/www.redfin.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Ask_Redfin_Launch_Video_1x1.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.redfin.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Ask_Redfin_Launch_Video_1x1.mp4\">https:\/\/www.redfin.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Ask_Redfin_Launch_Video_1x1.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now that we\u2019re about two months into its existence, we wanted to share how people are using Ask Redfin. Since its debut, our AI-assistant has helped homebuyers with all sorts of queries about for-sale homes. The majority (59%) of questions users pose to Ask Redfin are about the property they\u2019re viewing. Everything from square footage (\u201cwhat is the size of the lot for this house?\u201d) to amenities and home features (\u201cwhat type of heating system does the home use?\u201d) to the home\u2019s condition and renovations (\u201cwhat year was the roof last replaced?\u201d), to community details (\u201chow much are the HOA fees?\u201d), and beyond. Nearly 1 in 10 people who launch Ask Redfin do so to request service from a real estate agent, and a slightly smaller share (8%) request a home tour.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019ve also found that Ask Redfin users are some of our most engaged customers: 93% of Ask Redfin users come back to the Redfin app within a week, and they use the app near-daily during that period. And it\u2019s most popular with home searchers in Virginia, Boston and Chicago\u2014three of our roughly one dozen beta launch markets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In developing Ask Redfin, we created a detailed set of instructions so it would answer questions in line with fair housing guidelines. We\u2019ve been closely monitoring Ask Redfin on this front, and it\u2019s performing well. When asked a question that touches on a potential fair housing issue, Ask Redfin appropriately says that it can\u2019t answer the question. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you haven\u2019t tried Ask Redfin yet, give it a whirl!
