The national figures in this report represent an aggregation of those 40 metros. While the percentage of cash sales remains high, all of those metros saw the share fall in 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Expensive coastal metros had the lowest share of all-cash buyers, led by San Jose, CA where only 18.1% of home purchases were made in cash.
