For two people traveling across the country from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.redfin.com\/city\/1826\/MA\/Boston\/filter\/status=active\">Boston<\/a>, the cost is $13,031. But for those who can afford a once-in-a-lifetime experience like attending this weekend\u2019s big game, it may be worth it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cFor fans who place a high value on experiences, spending the equivalent of several months\u2019 housing payments can feel rational, not reckless, as long as it fits within their budget,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.redfin.com\/news\/author\/darylfairweather\/\">Daryl Fairweather<\/a>, Redfin\u2019s chief economist. \u201cBig events like this aren\u2019t just about the game; they\u2019re about memories, identity and social connection. The emotional payoff of being there can outweigh the sticker shock, if you can comfortably afford it.
