Last month\u2019s ultra high-end home sales also included a ranch in Aspen and a beachfront villa in Hawaii.\u00a0<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n

A <\/span>waterfront estate<\/span><\/a> in Naples, FL was the most expensive home sale of January, fetching $55 million.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s followed by an <\/span>Aspen, CO ranch<\/span><\/a> that brought in $42 million, and a <\/span>Hawaiian beachfront estate<\/span><\/a> on the Big Island that sold for just over $38 million. Two more coastal Florida compounds round out the top five, fetching about $36 million apiece.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All in all, six of January\u2019s 10 most expensive home sales were in Florida. There was one each in Colorado, Hawaii, California and New York. Two of the priciest sales brought in more than $40 million, and all 10 sold for more than $29 million.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  5. 1160 N. Ocean Blvd., Palm Beach, FL 33480<\/span><\/a>: Sold for $36.3 million<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. 9001 Collins Ave. Unit S-1011, Surfside, FL 33154<\/span><\/a>: Sold for $33 million<\/span><\/li>\n
