I would like to share with you my recent experience with one of Redfin's extraordinary agents, Carrie Carruthers. Shortly after listing my home with Redfin, I suffered a major medical issue and was hospitalized. I was later transferred to a rehabilitation facility. Carrie and another agent, Lillian, who took photos and assisted with open houses immediately began going to my home to take care of my 10 yr old Yorkie. Lillian took her in until I was well enough to make other arrangements. Carrie did an excellent job of navigating a difficult buyer and sale. She took 3 full days off to drive an hour and a half to a retirement community because I was unable to drive myself. I know many agents would have bailed out due to the low prices (236k). From the very beginning Carrie was quite honest, approachable and very clear in responses to our questions. Her tack on how to price our home was borne out quite well when our original offer fell through. Within three hours we had another solid offer because we had nine offers to begin with! And her "nose to the grindstone" efforts to get another sale was quite awesome. We felt that she was completely dedicated to getting our home sold. Additionally, her advice on how to set up our home for photographs resulted in spectacular pictures which brought in 17 showings in just five days!
