There are several reasons why we will not recommend Catherine. 1) Catherine came to our initial meeting unprepared and started pulling comps as we met. 2) Although not Catherine’s work, the pictures taken were subpar and we would have expected our realtor to ensure they were adequate even after we brought it up. 3) we had to request modifications to the MLS listing as it didn’t highlight the best features of our home, again something we expect our realtor to do not us correcting the copy. 4) We didn’t feel much was done to sell our home at the right price and had to sell for a lot less than what we wanted. 5) The biggest one was lack of timely or no communication. We had to chase for answers periodically and during the closing process there were some significant issues that prevented the closing of the property on the scheduled date. We had to ask repeatedly what was going on and were plain lied to until we personally reached out to the attorney for answers that contradicted what Catherine had provided to us. With so much wire fraud, we were not informed of the issues until we inquire several days later when we were told what happened which caused us a lot of angst. After closing we never heard back from her to even congratulate us or for questions we had about logistics for new owners and had to talk to the buyer’s agent instead. I think overall was not a good experience and will not be using her again.

I regret that your recent selling experience with our team did not meet your expectations. Myself and my team strive to provide excellent service for both buyers and sellers alike. During a listing consultation, I share real time comparable sales data with sellers using my laptop and provide other listing information with printed material. Seller participation and collaboration is key to the listing process.
We use professional photographers for all of our listings and at times will reshoot rooms to improve the marketing.
The home was sold after 83 days on the market for 95% of list price at a higher than average price and less than the current 105 days on the market for this market area. The buyer had arranged with her attorney to have a “mail away” closing since she was travelling. Mail away closings are not ideal as having the buyer sign all of the closing documents at their attorney’s office, especially when there are lender documents. The closing documents were mailed to the buyer ahead of the arranged closing date and were delayed by FedEx, then once returned to the buyer’s attorney, some of the documents were missing the notary signature(s). Therefore, the closing documents had to be revised and resent to the buyer resulting in a delay in the original closing date by seven calendar days.
Stress free closings are always my goal, and I worked to limit as many complications that I can control. I'm proud of the final result and wish them the best.Catherine and her team, whom was Angelo, Joe and George made themselves available every time I was interested in viewing a home. They were always respectful, prompt, knowledgeable about the property and most of all friendly and cordial. They took as much time as I need to view the property and never made me feel rushed or pressured to buy and that's what I want when buying a house. Cathrine set me up with a Bay Equity financial representative and the process was smoth to closing. I would recommend Redfin and Catherine to other.
